Gaffes

During the "A Great Lady Has An Interview," Judy Garland is continuously pushing her hair back out of her face during the interview portion of the scene. However, when the musical part begins, her hair is firmly fixed up off of her face and stays that way until the end of the number, when her dance moves have obviously loosened it up enough to start falling in her face again.

Before The Babbitt and the Bromide, the title page in the book reads 'Fred Astaire meets Gene Kelly'. At the end of the number, it can be seen that the title reads 'Fred Astaire and friend' before the page is turned.

Towards the end of "This Heart of Mine", as Fred Astaire and Lucille Bremer begin to dance back to the palace, dancers in the background (screen left) struggle to stabilize some of the antler-tree props.
