I just finished watching it and I thought to myself, "I've seen this special every Halloween since I was little, I wonder what I'd be like without it?" Still to this day I say those one-liners in the show that are priceless. Probably my most favorite quote, "There are three things in life that should never be discussed with people: Religion, Politics, and the Great Pumpkin." The whole show is truly a classic. The jokes towards Charlie are hilarious. Snoopy's mannerisms are priceless. And of course, when Sally and Linus are in the pumpkin patch and Sally realizes that she wasted Halloween with a 'blockhead' she is so angry "I'll sue!" she said.

What an amazing performance by probably the most talented comedian in history! His over-acting personality fits perfectly of a parody of Hitler. I'm sure he's was outraged when the Tramp did this film, but he deserves it. The final scene is one of my favorites in the whole movie. Throughout the whole film you see a comedian making fun of one of the most evil humans in history, but in the end you a truly amazing actor who almost looks as if he's going to cry give an amazing speech of human dignity. The acting from Charlie Chaplin is probably the best performance of the the 1940's in my opinion. In this film he could make people laugh, cry, rejoiced with love or (if your a Nazi) hate him. The point is... his performance was amazing and I think it is by far his best work.

Most people back away from this film for it's somewhat disturbing look. However, if one actually sits down and watches it. They will be literally Blown Away!!! Take Wallace and Gromet for example, though they have a much "cornier look" then Nightmare Before... does but it has the same basic principles. Completely stop-motion but with a unique edge and a much well developed storyline. The story doesn't have a message that we can relate to personally, but a message that just makes us think, "Can you imagine if holidays collided?" Though the thought maybe unbareable, it still is fascinating. I have always enjoyed this film and I think I'll enjoy it for years to come.
