I was a fan of Craig Ferguson when he had The Late Late Show. So yes be warned the dialogue has some sexual innuendo jokes. But the banter between him & Kathy Lee Gifford is great fun. Dont let her perkiness from her daytime talk show deter you from seeing this. They work well together & I really liked seeing a romantic comedy involving a mature couple & thinking about whats been just "enough" in life. I'd say the main charachter is the Scottish scenery ! Filmed at Ardkinglas Estate & around Cairndow in the Argylle/Bute area of Scottish Highlands. Its beautiful. (This film is absolutely nothing like current Hollywood movies with aging actors like Diane Keaton or Robert Deniro, and thats a good thing !!)

I love, love, love that Kathie Lee, in her 60s, has written a new chapter in her story! The movie was sweet, honest and engaging. Craig Ferguson was charming and sexy. Ford Kiernan was a riot. I love Scotland and I loved Kathie Lee in this movie. Precious!

Been a dirth of movies on lately, this was the only one on in a morning session that I hadn't seen, wasn't familiar with either of the two leads, but took a chance, and was most pleasantly surprised, a delightful little movie, what it may lack in budget or big name stars, it easily makes up for in engaging performances, and magnificent Scottish scenery, with a quite witty script and a couple of very catchy songs, all written by Gifford it appears. Left the cinema not only feeling entertained, but in a good mood, and if a movie can accomplish that, it gets my seal of approval, congratulations to all concerned. Just proves it doesn't need to be an Academy award winning blockbuster to tick all the boxes!

I was surprised how much I loved this movie. Finally a romance for the over 50 crowd. I laughed a lot at the jokes and nuances. The acting was good, scenery was gorgeous. Great movie.

Hi Kathie Lee. Big thumbs up for this movie! It was witty, cute and funny without all the f-Bombs Hollywood thinks they need!
I've been to sooooo many industry movies that are full of f-bombs and crass un-funny, lame humor.
We NEED better writers, please Hollywood enough of empty crass, gross un intelligent humor.
Will recommend this movie!!

I went into this with lowish expectations and yes it was a ridiculous story and a tiny cast ( basically 3) but it was funny. Scottish witty and the actors just seemed to be enjoying themselves and the dialogue was slick and quick. They seemed to be actually having a laugh and so was I. I laughed out loud. ( I'm not a laugh out loud type of guy).
A remedy for the pompous romantic comedies set in beautiful Scotland, although, yes, it is all these things too. The actors had an ease, they were good and relaxed in their pacing. Nothing was a surprise including Liz Hurley and they didn't prolong (or even pretend to believe) the required plot twist.

I am getting crosser and crosser with a lot of the reviews that almost put me off watching a film like this which was a lot deeper than you'd imagine at the same time being very funny. For the so-called 'selected' review by presumably a Scots fan OF Craig Ferguson to slag off Kathie Lee Gifford who - sorry to shout - but ACTUALLY WROTE THE THING was pathetic and totally biased. Fair enough, it wasn't all perfect but close enough for me! And to say that she just happened to meet him is a load of rubbish, which was tied into the story. So, do yourself a favour and watch it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
