Short film made by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation to counter the negative images and stereotypes of coal miners. The film follows a fourth generation coal miner on the job and in his private life. It portrays coal mining in an honest light and proves that it is a job to be proud of. The short also spotlights the advancements in the field with new machinery that makes the job less strenuous on miners and faster than it use to be. Safety is another aspect to the job that has greatly improved as the film demonstrates.
