Sinopsis

  • After Laurie eagerly points out at the family breakfast table that Eric has a hickey. Red tells Eric not to let Donna suck his face as she is a nice girl. Kitty is amused, but is worried that Laurie is just loitering around the house and has not agenda in life. Laurie continues to needle Hyde by calling him an orphan, and he retaliates by calling her a prostitute, but not in front of Red, only in front of Kitty. Jackie advises Eric to hide the hickey with a decorative scarf. Fez wants a hickey too, from anyone. In desperation, he gives himself a hickey.

Kelso decides to steal lingerie from Kitty's hamper to commemorate his having sex with Laurie. As he rummages through the laundry hamper, he first picks out underpants, which Eric says belongs to Kitty. But then, Kelso manages to find one that belongs to Laurie. Jackie still has no clue that Kelso had sex with Laurie.

One of Laurie's college professors Stark (Stephen Tobolowsky) tries to get her to return to classes. Kitty and Red are super excited that there is a chance that Laurie can return to college. Eric discovers his real reason for being at the Forman house when he sees them kissing. Eric is happy that he finally has something on Laurie, but he waits too long to rat on her even after Hyde practically forces him to confront Laurie at the dinner table. By the time Eric is ready to bust Laurie, Stark has already confessed his love for Laurie, and the crafty Laurie gives it a nasty turn. She claims that Stark took advantage of her love of education, and she also claims that Eric saw Stark kissing her today, but did nothing to stop him. Red is convinced by Laurie's story and forgives her. Even Kitty is angry with Eric and wants him to pull the trigger on Laurie the next time

Meanwhile, Hyde is having difficulty finding a suitable place to sleep. Hyde is sick of bunking and decides to move out of Eric's room, but to which other room? He tries the TV lobby (too noisy), Red's library (Red says "I don't think so"), Kitchen (Kitty keeps hopping over him). He finally finds a storeroom in the basement, which is used to store all the junk that the Forman's can't get rid of. Hyde moves in.

Donna is the center of her parents' fighting, as they attempt to win her favor by taking her shopping. In another feminist flare, Midge takes Donna for a ride, bagging on Bob and shopping. Midge has been reading a new book that says that Midge and Donna should be best friends. Instead of bonding with Donna, Midge spends the whole time cribbing about Bob.

When they return, Bob insists to retaliate. Donna has homework but Bob piles on the guilt about not spending time with him. Donna loves the shirts and the clogs but is irritated with her parents fighting over her love. Donna lays down the rule that Bob and Midge will not fight with each other through her.
