When the camera angle switches back the original position, even though it seems he has the bullet in his hand, the ring appears to be gone again.
When Frank is giving Col. Buzz Brighton a physical Buzz is holding a martini glass. When Frank goes to take his pulse the glass suddenly disappears.
Henry's pistol is a Colt Commander, or, more likely a Combat Commander. The Commander, introduced in 1950, is an aluminum-framed compact M1911A1, but was not common in Korea. The Combat Commander is an all steel version introduced in 1970.
