Heidi removes the ribbon from her Christmas present twice, once in a closeup, then again when the shot changes.

When Heidi and her grandfather are sledding, the close-up shots show grandfather's arms around Heidi and he's holding the pointed ends of the sled's upright runner tips. The far-away shots show them in a much larger sled, with grandfather holding reins that are attached to the runner tips, which are several feet in front of them.

Heidi's legs change position after she falls over whilst performing a curtsy to Herr Sesemann.

After Heidi starts undressing in the street, her pile of clothes disappears between shots.

Goat Peter's hair changes from light blonde to dark brown between scenes.

The butler tells Heidi that she is being served 'false hare', a type of German meatloaf. But the meat on the serving platter is clearly a joint of roast beef.

When Peter tells Heidi that her grandfather will "probably cut your head off" when he gets angry, he accidentally looks into the camera.

Heidi's grandfather uses a wooden bench to smash through the iron bars of his jail cell to escape.

Dete brings Heidi to the Sesemann house in the evening, and she leaves almost immediately. However, the next day, Fräulein Rottenmeier says that Dete did not leave until earlier that morning.
