A padre fresh from Guadalcanal arrives to visit the Black Sheep squadron. Rather than man of courage and faith, they see a man in the middle of a crisis of faith. Meanwhile local Japanese bombers seem to be taking a lot interest in activity around the islands.

Driven by her friends' gossip, Blondie decides that Dagwood needs to pressure his boss for a better job and more pay. Dagwood is hesitant because he lacks confidence in his abilities, but Blondie cooks up a scheme to help Dagwood get the promotion he deserves.

A random conversation leads Blondie to be concerned about her marriage license. When repeated efforts to locate a replacement copy prove futile, she decides to work this to her advantage and tell Dagwood that they are not married and that he needs to woo her and win her heart all over again.

When Mr. Dithers is suddenly hospitalized with an ulcer, Dagwood is put in charge of the construction of a new factory, but his new role as boss might not last long: on the first day on the job, a bird's nest is discovered in a tree that is scheduled to be chopped down.

Members of a Britsh mountain climbing club are seemingly terrorized by an abominable snow man after film of tracks belonging to the creature are released. March struggles to accept the nature of the creature, and what it's real motivations are.

Colonel March is on holidays in France when he meets an old friend from the French police who tells him of a murder at the docks. The French suspect he was a smuggler who had English contacts. March decides to aid them in their investigation.

Gene encounters a cowboy who tries to rob him. The man dies after he steals Gene's horse and falls. On his body Gene finds a cryptic note about events in a nearby town. On investigating he discovers a strange series of events surrounding the potential of water in the area.
