When Drake and Josh accidentally send their little sister Megan on a plane to L.A., they soon find themselves in the middle of a dangerous situation.

After Cooper is released from jail, Megan follows him around and discovers that Kimberly's mother is the one responsible for trying to kill Michael, who eventually makes another attempt in the hospital O.R., but stabs Megan instead. Meanwhile, Kyle's outburst at Eric prompts him to extend his deadline at closing down the Jazz Club by giving an indecent proposal to Amanda. Connie, an old friend of Samantha's, arrives in town from New York to be the maid of honor at her wedding, and who brings a secret agenda. Also, Craig throws Billy a bachelor party and makes the moves on another woman. Lexi puts herself in Cooper's debt after she shows her hidden addiction to tranquillizers. At the end, after Kyle learns from Taylor about Eric's indecent proposal to Amanda, he breaks into Eric's hotel suite and threatens to throw him off the 10th floor balcony.

While Megan is in a coma after the stabbing, Cooper maintains a bedside vigil for her, and a jealous Michael tries to bring a halt to the visits after sensing deja vu with him over Kimberly. Meanwhile, Kyle once again rejects Taylor's effort to reconcile, and returns Eric's parting shot with another one in the face. Amanda discovers that clients are returning to her agency, while she tries to repair her damaged relationship with Kyle. Peter begins to suspect something about Lexi due to her erratic behavior. On the day of Samantha and Billy's wedding, she unwittingly offends Billy's mother by refusing to wear a valuable broach, where Craig meets Jennifer's date.

Hillary Michaels is the owner, CEO and president of Models Incorporated, a top modeling agency in Los Angeles which she runs with her son David, the younger half-brother of Amanda Woodward from D&D advertising, one of the agency's biggest clients (from the series 'Melrose Place'). Tired of Hillary's aggressive and tyrant-like influence, Teri Spencer, the top model, wants out of her contract. But during an agency party, a drunken Teri is pushed from the balcony of a high-rise building to her death. The suspects include Hillary because of her anger over financial loses the agency will suffer if Teri quit; the agency's Australian photographer, Brian Peterson, Teri's one-time boyfriend; and Carrie Spencer, Teri's older sister, whom the snobbish Teri taunted about her spiraling career and the child she had to give up for adoption. Meanwhile, newcomer Sarah Owens settles in at the agency's beach front house with help from her friends Jo and Jake (also from 'Melrose Place'). David takes an interest in Sarah, sparking jealousy in his cynical Australian model girlfriend Julie Dante. Sarah tries to win over Julie's friendship by helping her expose a photographer who promised Julie career advances in exchange for sex. Later during a trip to New York City for a fashion show, Julie goes on a drinking binge and loses the gig to Sarah. Also, the agency's receptionist, Stephanie Smith, deals with all of the chaotic problems, while model Linda Holden tries to hide the truth about her abusive relationship with Eric Dearborn, a sleazy musician.

Dexter must find a way to get rid of Miguel despite the fact that his friend is a district attorney (and Dexter's best man); Rita discovers that Miguel has been seeing an old flame; Debra finds a new clue to the Skinner's identity.

Harry and Debbie welcome Sean into their home, while Dixon, Annie, and Tabatha welcome him awkwardly despite the fact that they don't know much about him, while Naomi and her mother, Tracy, welcome him to their home as well. Meanwhile, Kelly and Brenda's friendship is slowly fading away and gets wider after Brenda is hospitalized from an accident and confides in Kelly that she seduced Ryan weeks earlier. Naomi decides to hang out with a new group of girls at school despite Ozzie's advice that they want nothing to do with her. Also, Silver feels threatened when a cheerleader, named Christina, shows too much interest in Dixon who shares the same interests he does.

Following a personal and professional spiral, Los Angeles defense attorney Mickey Haller receives an unexpected opportunity from a fellow attorney.
