A new classic from the 90s will present a modernized version from the hand of director Ben Ketai (Beneath), with Adam Brody and Leighton Meester as protagonists. This is River Wild, a 1994 film starring Kevin Bacon and Meryl Streep, which new reimagining will be released on digital, Blu-ray and DVD on August 1.

This Thursday, Universal Pictures released the first trailer for the movie, which anticipates a family adventure that goes terribly wrong when they get cut in the rapids, while someone on the boat seems to be determined to sabotage their trip:
