Secret Invasion star Samuel L. Jackson reveals a real-life situation where Marvel tried its best S.H.I.E.L.D. impression, going undercover to retrieve the stolen script for his Nick Fury character when doing The Avengers.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Jackson said his watermarked script for The Avengers was taken from Marvel's production offices during filming. The studio set up a fake purchase online when the screenplay appeared online. "I remember when we got ready to do Avengers, someone printed out a copy of my Avengers script that had my watermark on it, and put it online for sale," he said. "I was shooting in Canada and Marvel came to Canada. It had been printed in the production office. They found out who it was, dude quit, left the country. They set up a fake buy for the script, dude didn't show up. It was crazy."
