The name tag on Podcast's Ghostbuster's uniform throughout the film and just before the final battle is hand-written. Immediately after the final battle, he can be seen wearing the familiar black-and-red sewn name tag that the rest of the uniforms have.

When Nadeem is being interviewed with the bowl hat strapped to his head. The strap kept changing from behind his one ear to not and then behind it again.

When Phoebe tries to shoot lion with Ecto-C's gun, a police car, Ford Crown Vic. is seen to getting closer to scene. When it's close up shots, it turns to Ford Police Interceptor. Also, Crown Vic is looking too much CGI.

Mayor Peck warns Phoebe that slander is a criminal offense and she could be arrested. Slander is a civil matter and not a criminal offense, yet moments later, Phoebe is seen in handcuffed in an interview room, presumably after being arrested. Even if Mayor Peck is a corrupt jerk, no competent cops would arrest Phoebe for something that is not a criminal act. Also the claim that Peck's shutdown of the original containment unit released a horde of ghosts is not slander but the truth, as Venkman and Janine witnessed this and could have testified on Phoebe's behalf.

The character of the linguist - whose academic specialty is, supposedly, the study of ancient languages - cannot even pronounce the common Latin phrase "et cetera" correctly; furthermore, the sentences uttered by the character during his conversation with the Spengler family contain multiple grammatical errors.

At around 36 minutes, the phone at Ghostbusters HQ is ringing, however no light is flashing (on the phone depicted, the button indicating which line was ringing would be flashing). Also, no line button was selected, so when the phone was picked up, it wouldn't in reality pick up any call.

When Nadeem is being tested by Venkman, you see a Commodore PET computer behind Venkman showing onscreen, Nadeem's spectral responses to the questions being asked. However, PET computers did not come with color monitors, there were all monochrome (single color either green or orange) and not capable of showing graphics.

Podcast vigorously shakes a developing Polaroid photo. Not only does shaking have no effect on the chemical process but it can actually ruin the photo.

In the original Los Cazafantasmas (1984), when Slimer/Ugly Spud/Onionhead would eat, the food or drink would pass through him and onto the floor. In Frozen Empire the attic is full of wrappers and food packaging, but no rotted food, and nothing fell out of him when Trevor was luring him to the trap with a trail of Cheetos. In Los Cazafantasmas II (1989), it is seen in the "We're Back" montage that Slimer somehow overcame this problem.

When the classic Kenner commercials play in the news montage, after the child operating the Neutrona Wand says "break out the new equipment", the beginning of "Ghost trap set" plays in error, before the audio then cuts to "Neutrona blaster charged".

The commercial shown is just a heavily edited version of the commercial for the Kenner Ghost Trap, with certain parts cut out in order to shorten it.

When "Possessor" takes control of Ecto-1, it puts the car in drive...you then see it going in reverse to try and run over Venkman and Winston.

The beginning of the film shows Hook & Ladder 8 in 1904 having a single door on the front (like in modern day), but back then, Ladder 8 was a double-door station. The building's width was reduced by about half in 1913 upon the widening of Varick St. to become the station that it is today.

An ancient artifact has been safely kept in a special brass lined room for decades and there are no issues until it is removed from the room. The main characters are aware of this, but nobody even suggests either returning the artifact to the room or making a brass lined container for the artifact. From what is shown, that should solve the problem.

When power is lost at the Ghostbusters Lab, Lars says it will take a few minutes for the generators to turn on, and then states that the proton fields are down until the generators turn on. Since computers and many lights are still running, there's some sort of battery backup. There's no reason something as critical as the Proton Field wouldn't be on this backup.

Much is made of the Containment Unit being loaded with ghosts since the 1980s. However, Cazafantasmas: Más allá (2021) revealed that the Ghostbusters stopped operating sometime in the 1990s, so there should only be one decade's worth of captured ghosts, not four.

In the opening scene, Gary claims they've lost power in the Ecto-1. However, the car, which requires electricity to run the engine (and which generates electricity in turn), continues to run.

Melody was supposed to be working for Garraka to help release him, but had no knowledge of the Extraction Unit and did nothing to coerce or manipulate Phoebe in her decision to use it - making her involvement in the plot redundant.

In 1904 a firefighter checks to see if a door is hot using the palm of his hand. A real firefighter would use the back of his hand.

There have been five or six major ice ages in Earth's history and probably a host of smaller ones. The GhostBusters would be saving New York from most likely the seventh ice age, not the second as stated.
