- The passionate story of a passionate love - born in the hollow of the dunes of the Landes and too quickly mowed by death - intermingles with the wild hope that raised us in May-June 1968.
- Boys dive, cats moan, an old lady smokes, a guardian of the dead sighs, young people dance. They are the people of a ghost town: Beirut, which exists only in dreams.
- Teens in turmoil, a superhero, waterfalls, a little sensuality but not too much, a young wheelchair turbo speed, a popular girl, a rock band and some rabbits for nature lovers - Normally all there is. If anything is missing, let the directors know, they will put it in the next movie.
- At a shop on a Paris street corner, Arabic-speaking men are often overheard engaging in friendly conversation. The sentiments shared in this gathering place for immigrant men resonate with letters the director's father wrote to his family in Lebanon years ago, and the nostalgia they bring makes it feel as though time has stopped.
- In his futuristic novel 1984, published in 1948, George Orwell tells the story of a Londoner who leads a solitary resistance against the dominant and totalitarian party Big Brother. His name: Winston Smith. According to the English phone book, there are at least twenty-five people with the same surname as this character currently living in London. The director proposes in this film to go and meet them. To search if there is, between all these homonyms, and Orwell's hero, an unspeakable link.
- In the river Zhujiang, in the middle of the megapolis Guangzhou, lies a little populated island - a thorn in the side of the authorities of the growing metropolis. In 2008, the expropriation and eviction of two thousand inhabitants was initiated to make way for new urban planning projects - a fate shared by millions of Chinese citizens every year. Despite the demolition of their houses and pressure from the authorities, a few residents refuse to leave their homes. For seven years the anthropologist Boris Svartzman accompanied them through the struggle to save their homeland.
- A film that comprises in itself a form of dance - rather than a film about dance; an encounter between film and dance - rather than a film about a dancer. A documentary exploring Ko Murobushi's dance and inner worlds, with purely cinematic means.
