- Alice visits an animation studio, where the animators show her various scenes on their drawing boards. A few of them: a cat dancing to a cat band; a mouse poking at a (live) cat until it moves; a couple mice boxing, while the animators crowd around cheering and acting as corner-men. That night, she dreams of taking a train to cartoon-land, where a red carpet reception awaits. She appears in live action. They have a welcoming parade, with Alice riding on an elephant. The cartoons dance for her, and she dances for them. Meanwhile, the lions break out of the zoo. The lions chase her into a hollow tree, then into a cave and down a rabbit hole. Finally, she jumps off a cliff and awakes back in her bed.
- Oswald attempts to win the affections of another rabbit by pretending to be a beach life guard.
- A starving actor, reduced to trying his luck in the movies, travels to Hollywood. His cat, Felix, poses as a travel bag and comes along.
- Little Alice and Julius the cat operate an egg factory. The hens are a bit lazy, but Julius cracks the whip. An out-of-town chicken arrives, only she's a labour agitator, Little Red Henski from Moscow, Russia, who comes courtesy of the I.W.W. Soon she has the hens striking for "shorter hours" and "smaller eggs". Alice and Julius need to fill an urgent egg order. They spot two roosters fighting. They organize a pugilistic event, and charge each hen one egg admission. Alice and Julius fill their order and drive away ... but the load slips off, breaking all the eggs.
- Alice wants desperately to get out of practicing her piano so she can go have fun with her friends. She tricks her mother into thinking she's still playing by getting her dog to play for her, and then she and the gang hitch a ride to the local pond where they spend their time fishing. While there, she envisions what it would be like to go fishing at the North Pole.
- Alice and her friends put on a show. After a brief overture, act one: A saloon; Alice enters, and shoots down two bad guys. Tubby O'Brien and his gang then enter the audience; Alice's cast leaves out of fear. Alice decides to tell stories of her wild west adventures, and we finally get two brief animated sequences: Alice riding atop a stagecoach, shooting at Indians, and Alice as Sheriff, taking care of a bad guy who steals a safe. The overall feel is much more like an Our Gang short than the rest of the Alice series.
- After Alice is caught pulling a prank in class, she's sent to the corner with a dunce's cap, where she quickly grows tired and begins daydreaming. She imagines herself cavorting with various animals until they're all espied by her teacher, who immediately calls forth her book army to vanquish Alice and friends. After a lengthy chase, Alice defends herself by forming her animal friends into an army; the teacher retaliates using a cannon, and looks to be winning until the animals build their own cannon from a junk heap and fill it with pepper. The battle wages until Alice is awakened from her reverie and discovers she hasn't left her classroom after all.
- Alice's trip to the sea inspires her to dream of a visit to an animated underwater world.
- Alice conducts a secret meeting and devises a plan to free all dogs by eliminating the dog catchers.
- A mouse and his boss pose as dogcatchers and grab a schoolhouse full of dogs; they use several other ruses to round up dogs for, as we discover, a sausage factory. Alice and Julius are on the trail soon after the first caper, but it takes them a while to catch up with the bad guys. They do, and Julius tricks the big boss into getting clobbered by the sausage guy, then turns the dogs loose on him.
- Koko the Clown plants a jumping bean that becomes a beanstalk. Later, he creates duplicates of himself and attacks his creator.
- Alice, at the beach with her cat, tries to solve a crossword puzzle, when Woodleg Pete, a ruthless collector of rare crossword puzzles, sees that Alice's one is missing in his collection. But while trying to steal it, he did not include Alice's cat in his calculation...
- A famished Felix reads an advertisement telling of a large reward for anyone that can give proof for the theory of evolution. He hurries to South Africa via Transatlantic Cable and interacts with the local animals. He angers a troop of monkeys by telling them why he's there (they're offended he would suggest they could be related to humans) and they chase him back through the cable to America.
- The Three Bears are busy cooking when Baby Bear realizes his recipe requires hops. Naturally his first inclination is to go find some frogs to provide for him his hops, so he runs off and pursues a frog at the local pond. In the meantime Alice and her cat stumble upon the Three Bears' house and sneak inside (Ma and Pa Bear are nowhere to be seen). Baby Bear returns and gets into a fight with the cat, and then calls in his parents to help out. The cat is defeated and the bears make off with Alice, who they throw in a sack and tie to a sawmill. When the cat revives, he calls in reinforcements: his nine lives, who take on the Three Bears and eventually lose. The cat gets another idea: he liquors up one of his nine lives, who is then able to take on all three bears at once. Pleased with himself, the cat hurries into the mill to rescue Alice, who proclaims him her hero.
- Alice and Julius are riding along on a turtle until they notice someone has left a pie to cool on their third-storey window sill. They swipe it with the aid of the turtle and his elongated neck, but are pursued by a police officer. They try to paddle away across a pond and up a river, but the officer's determined to catch them. He tricks them into his paddy wagon and they end up in prison, where the hijinks continue with a daring jail break.
- A hypnotist visits Max in the studio and offers to teach him the power of mind control. Max has fun turning the Inkwell Clown into a donkey, and while the hypnotist levitates Max's female colleague, the Clown battles his own shadow.
- Julius the cat is skating on a pond when he espies a young lady break through the ice. He saves her, only to realize she's not particularly attractive, and so throws her back. Meanwhile, a kitten orphan is left in a basket by the side of the pond; Julius discovers it and takes it skating with him, afterward taking it home to Alice. They name him Oscar, and Julius tries to give the brat a bath. He then feeds Oscar and teaches him some table manners.
- Alice and her cat are driving along the coast when they accidentally ride off a cliff and into the ocean. They trick a fish into towing them along until a storm hits and they are swept away to the Cannibal Islands, where they are pursued aggressively by the locals.
- Max and the Inkwell Clown compete to see who can blow the largest bubble.
- Felix the Cat is fishing, but has not caught anything. He goes into a restaurant and tries to steal a fish, but the owner sees him and throws a can at him. Felix looks at the can, which says that Alaska is rich in fish, so Felix treks to the great white north to feed himself.
- Alice, Julius and Pete compete in a golf tournament.
- Alice and Julius, while out hunting big game, find themselves brought before the court of the Lion King.
- Alice and Julius the cat are riding an elephant through the jungle. Julius falls and is nearly eaten by crocodiles but manages to escape nevertheless. Meanwhile, two elephant children are having fun at a watering hole and a monkey barber has his barber pole eaten by a hippo, who mistakes it for a candy cane. Julius tries to remedy the latter injustice by starching up a tiger's striped tail and knocking it off, using it as a replacement pole. Alice hunts a lion who proves to be too much for her to handle, but Julius bravely comes to the rescue.
- Alice and Julius are going to stage a bullfight. Their bull is a broken-down old cow. They fix it up with some rollerskates. A family of cats uses a see-saw to catapult themselves over the fence; a cop (dog) spots them, but ends up helping them by accident. Julius replaces the bull with a more presentable one from a tobacco billboard for the introduction to the crowd. Alice fights the sad cow, sending her into a cactus; this makes her mad enough to really fight. Time for another swap: Julius dresses as a pantomime cow, and Alice throws him across the ring...
- Seeing a man about to eat a roast chicken, Felix uses pepper to make him sneeze it out of the house--but it's then grabbed by a snake. A kindly barber feeds Felix, though, and in gratitude Felix promises to replace the man's stolen barber pole. And he knows just where to get one--the North Pole.
- Felix is trying to get some sleep in a graveyard, but keeps getting bothered by a ghost. He follows the ghost to the house of an old farmer, and the ghost proceeds to terrorize the old man, and when the farmer calls for help from the police, the ghost terrorizes them, too. Felix, however, suspects something fishy is going on, and with the help of the farmer's donkey, gets to the bottom of things.
- Bored with life in town, Felix sees an opportunity for some excitement when a traveling circus passes through, so he joins up. One day he overhears the Skeleton Man propose to the Fat Lady, then change his mind because she's too fat. Felix decides to help her lose weight so the Skeleton Man will marry her, but this results in the ringmaster getting angry with Felix and firing him. Felix comes up with a plan to force the circus to re-hire him.
- Felix's girlfriend desires a particular flower and wants Felix to get it for her. The only problem is that it's on top of a 40,000-foot mountain! Felix, of course, immediately heads off to climb the mountain for her, and on the way comes up against a mountain lion, a vulture and a persistent bear.
- Alice and Julius have to hold their western fort against The Three Bad Eggs and a band of marauding Indians.
- When a ball is accidentally knocked through the window of a neighborhood haunted house, Alice is the only one brave enough to go inside to retrieve it. While she's in there she falls and bumps her head, sending her to a cartoon dreamworld in which she rescues a cat and battles some spirits in a ghost town.
- It's mayhem in the house as Julius the cat squares off against a pugilistic bear while Alice looks on adoringly.
- A tramp enters stray cat Felix in a local pet show, hoping to win money and buy food. But when Felix gives the judges fleas, they disqualify Felix and throw him out. The angry tramp chases Felix; in the process of escaping, Felix falls into white paint and acquires two black eyes. Now looking like a whole different cat, Felix reenters the pet show and wins the prize.
- Julius goes courting, but another suitor is favored, so he decides to commit suicide and consistently fails.
- The rats are out of control in Hamlin; they've taken over the kitchen, but when they take over the King's bedroom, that's the last straw. He posts a $5 reward, which the rats change to $5,000. Alice and Julius accept the challenge; they play a tune and the rats gather around, but they won't fall for the old "follow me into the river" trick. Fortunately, a very powerful vacuum cleaner is nearby, and Alice and Julius suck all the rats into it. The king gives them their reward: $5.
- Pete schemes to kidnap Alice while she and Julius are working as lumberjacks along the river.
- Boys playing back alley baseball improbably hold their afternoon game at the Polo Grounds. Felix the Cat takes action when his favored team seems poised to lose.
- Alice is dancing aboard her ship with a veritable zoo of a crew. Meanwhile, in the galley, the chef (a cat) is preparing food while his assistant, a mouse, is peeling potatoes. When the chef complains that they need eggs, the mouse is enlisted to retrieve them from the crow's nest. The birds there give him a rough time, but he's eventually able to capture one and strong-arm three eggs out of it. When he returns, though, he finds the chef now wants some milk, and so he's off to find the ship's goat, with similar comedic results.
- Felix helps the police catch a bank robber by hiding inside a money sack and leading the robber on a chase. He next helps nab a thief stealing sponges from a store by the imaginative use of a friendly elephant.
- Julius the cat is chasing a rabbit. The rabbit escapes down one of a pair of holes, and teases the cat for a while; the cat finally catches the rabbit by leaving his face to watch one hole and his body at the other. The rabbit pleads for mercy: think of her poor children. Julius breaks down, and the rabbit laughs at him (after powdering her nose with her own tail). Julius chases the rabbit into her hole, where she grows larger and chases him out. Alice appears, carrying a rifle, and helps the cat by dragging over a fire hose and putting it down one hole, thus flushing out the rabbit. We then see several forest creatures playing instruments and dancing; most notably, two bears dance. Alice fires at one bear; she hits, then misses for a while, then hits again, but there is no lasting effect to the bear, which then chases them. Alice and her friends hide in a barrel under a beehive; the bear knocks the hive into the barrel. They try to escape in a lake without luck.
- Felix lets a mouse out of a mousetrap. The mouse then offers to do Felix a favor--to help him sneak his friend out of the house so they can go swimming.
- Alice leaves her home and has asked her cat to take care of the house. But the rats are trying to keep the cat out of their way, especially, when they discover Alice's home-brew, it is not that difficult...
- Julius discovers that Alice has been captured by Pete and held prisoner on his pirate ship. He sets out to rescue Alice.
- Alice is kidnapped by Chinese Gangsters and brought to Chinatown. Her cat tries (successfully) to rescue her, but then they're hunted by a bunch of angry Chinese Triad members.
- Winter in his hometown is too cold for Felix, especially after having to put up with a bothersome snowball-throwing boy and his dog, so Felix decides to build some wings and fly south to the warmer tropical jungles. Even there, though, he doesn't get any peace, as he comes up against cannibals, an angry monkey and an elephant.
- Felix's master, a magician, plays tricks on Felix with magic. Felix tricks him into transforming into a mouse, then knocks him out and steals his book of magic. After practicing some tricks, Felix winds up being transported into a painting, where he fights a lion, a stork and a hippo.
- Felix gets into trouble with a tribe of Indians out west, and is chased by a bear.
- When the local hotel is found to be on fire, the firemen (all of them Julius the cat lookalikes), led by Fire Chief Alice, are called in. The residents are busy escaping the blaze while the cats get to work helping them out of the building and putting out the flames. When a feline tenant gets caught on the top floor, one of the firemen bravely saves her by riding a smoke cloud up to reach her, but when they get back to the ground, he finds her expiring from smoke inhalation. He saves the day by rolling the smoke out of her with a rolling pin, and when she revives the two fall instantly in love.
- Julius is a lifeguard at the beach, where he meets and falls in love with a beautiful female cat. Alice decides to help out by driving the car when the two decide to elope.
- Alice and Julius go fishing where Alice charms the fish ashore with a tune from her flute.
- Felix strikes up a friendship with a small boy, but the boy's father won't let him keep Felix as a pet. Every time Felix tries to sneak into the house, the father throws him out, finally chasing him out with a shotgun. To get his revenge, Felix plants some very old cheese in the house, then waits for all the mice to smell it and swarm into the house.
