  Rem : Logan, Jessica - I think it's time we were on our way.

  Jessica : Oh, don't worry about it, Rem. There's no hurry. There's plenty of time.

  Rem : ...I wonder.

  Logan : Rem, be careful!

  Rem : There's more of me over here.

  Jessica : Rem!

  Rem : Forgive me not getting up. Part of my leg mechanism is on loan-out.

• Jessica : What have they done to you?

  Rem : Why, Jessica, that's obvious. They've taken me apart.

  Logan : Can we put you back together again?

  Rem : Not with the help of all the king's horses and all the king's men.

  Logan : What?

  Rem : It's an old verse about a fellow who took quite a tumble.

• [Logan, Jessica and Timon find Rem partially dismantled in a laboratory] 

  Timon : So you're Rem. You look...

  Rem : Well, I have looked better. I'm spread a little thin at the moment.

  Jessica : How does it feel, Rem?

  Rem : A great deal better than before. I've been in need of an overhaul for some time. It should really be done every 3000 hours to be on the safe side.

  [all laugh] 

• [referring to Morah's transporter] 

  Rem : There's one thing that puzzles me.

  Morah : What could that be?

  Rem : The signals are of such high frequency that they would appear to be for transmissioin across enormous distances... to and from someplace possibly even light years away.

  Morah : And so they are.

  Rem : Perhaps even to your homeland?

  Morah : Perhaps.

  Rem : Or should I say, your home *planet*?
