- Quotes
Janine Davis: Well, according to Ms. Jensen, you said that she was a slave to her biological urges and called her an egg salad sandwich. I don't even know what that means, but I'm gonna go ahead and tell you you can't say it.
Sheldon Cooper: Oh! I see the confusion here. No, no, Alex thought I was singling her out. No. I meant that all women are slaves to their biological urges, you know? Even you. You're a slave.
Janine Davis: I'm a what?
Sheldon Cooper: Well, y-you, I-I'm just saying, you know, at a certain point in a woman's menstrual cycle...
Janine Davis: Whuh-ah! Woah! You can't talk about that, either, Dr. Cooper. Your language is entirely inappropriate, and I'm gonna advise that you shut your mouth right now.

When I heat up food in my microwave oven, the LED panel counts down to zero then flashes the word "enjoy." I find this very upsetting. I know my microwave doesn't care if I "enjoy" my soup and I'd prefer it not feign interest. I'm also well aware that it mocks my stove when I'm not around.
While his passing was sad, his genius undeniable, and his legacy assured, I am haunted by one question regarding Ravi Shankar. How would we have known if he made mistakes?
As a child I believed that the future included jet packs, flying cars, space travel, cool robots, and glass-domed colonies on the surface of the moon and the bottom of the ocean. As an adult I believe that the future includes TV's that can't be turned on without the help of out-of-work musicians.

This though is one of the better episodes, and offers some very funny moments.
The fact that the characters are so socially naïve means they do get away with an awful lot, and this plays out brilliantly here.
Lots of lovely moments, some great interplay between the characters, it's good fun. Even Bernadette was moderately tolerable, so that's an extra star added right there.
Funny stuff.
