Carrie-Anne Moss, best known for her iconic role as Trinity in 'The Matrix' franchise, is set to join Arnold Schwarzenegger and the cast of "FUBAR" for the show's second season on Netflix.
Moss will play Greta Nelso, described as a former East German spy who has a "passionate history" with Schwarzenegger's character, Luke Brunner. In the new season, Luke finds himself facing off against villains from his past, including an old flame (Moss) who threatens to destroy the world.
"We're thrilled to welcome Carrie-Anne Moss to the cast of "FUBAR" for what promises to be an action-packed second season," said creator and showrunner Nick Santora. "Her character Greta Nelso adds an exciting new dynamic as a nuanced adversary with complicated ties to Arnold's Luke Brunner."
In addition to Schwarzenegger and Moss, Season 2 will see the return of Monica Barbaro, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Milan Carter, Fabiana Udenio, and Barbara Eve Harris.
The satirical spy series, produced by Skydance Television, follows CIA operative Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) who finds himself thrust back into action after saving his daughter during an intended retirement mission in Season 1.
The series' first season garnered praise for its offbeat blend of action, comedy, and family dynamics anchored by Schwarzenegger's first major TV role. Season 2 will continue exploring those elements while raising the stakes with new threats for Brunner to confront.
A release date for the eight-episode season has not been announced yet. The series is executive produced by Santora, Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, and others.

Seth Meyers had a relatively short set at Monday’s NBCUniversal upfront, but he still got his shots in. Like this one on NBCU competitor Paramount: “I found $20 on the street this morning,” Meyers said. “Long story short, I’m one of the two finalists [to buy] Paramount.”
We’re not sure the Paramount Global special committee is going to take that offer seriously — kind of like Byron Allen’s. See? We’ve got jokes too.
Meyers had a few punchlines chambered for his employer. Like this one, on Peacock: “Peacock continues to prove that the easiest way to make a billion dollars is to spend eight [billion].”
Peacock is not only (still) losing a ton of money, it has yet to reveal a profitable-by date; even Paramount+ has one of those.
The streaming industry in general took it on the chin during the latest installment of Meyer’s annual routine.

As the NBCUniversal upfronts, they saved the best for almost last: “Late Night with Seth Meyers” host Seth Meyers hit the Radio City Music Hall stage to throw out a few quips before introducing NBCUniversal ad sales chief Mark Marshall.
Meyers came out swinging: “Hello and welcome to the NBC upfronts. If you’re looking for the Fox News upfronts, that’s happening outside a lower Manhattan courtroom,” he said to chuckles.
He then took aim at the broadcast industry: “What a joy to be back in Radio City Music Hall. I asked an NBC executive why do you hold...

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim segment has a long, proud tradition of imaginative April Fool’s Day shenanigans. This year, with fans anticipating the second season of Smiling Friends, the network surprise-dropped the season premiere after airing three episodes of the first season that had been entirely remade. Each first-season remix episode used the original audio and drawn backgrounds, but with Adult Swim executive Jacob Escobedo’s team reenacting the plots with puppet versions of the characters.
That’s already an extraordinary amount of work to put in just for a gag, but they went one step further by making different puppets for each episode — one uses Muppet-style fabrications, the next simpler sock puppets interacting with live-action performers, and the third detailed papier-mâché puppets.

The Bonus Round category is “People,” and the players start out with little help from the letters they call in the clip above. Thede, Hale, and Tyson each guess a letter that only has one space on the board, and Thede cracks up the audience when she sarcastically says “cool” in response to the excess of blank spaces. Hale gives a throwaway guess with “mandarine oranges,” and Tyson has no ideas for what the puzzle could read. When it’s Thede’s turn again, she guesses an “a,” of which there are two in the puzzle.

James Holzhauer came into the second season of Jeopardy! Masters as the “Final Boss of Jeopardy,” but by the third episode, the nickname had disappeared. Now, shocked fans are wondering if this is because of his less-than-stellar performance in the tournament so far. A viewer brought up the topic on the Jeopardy! Reddit forum after noticing the show had stopped doing the “occupation” intros starting with Episode 3. For comparison, in Season 1, the intros were still included all the way up until the semi-finals. “I can’t help but wonder if this has to do with with James being the self-described “Final Boss” but (so far) turning in a less-than-dominant performance,” the Reddit user wrote. “That line doesn’t seem so funny under these circumstances and could even be interpreted as a little embarrassing.” Holzhauer has used nicknames for his “occupation” intro before, including last year, when he went by the...

For many ’90s kids, Hades, god of the Underworld, is a funny yet lame villain who is just jealous of his brother Zeus. Whether it’s “Hercules” or the “Clash of the Titans” remake, the Greek god tends to be portrayed as just an analog for Satan. That’s not the case with “Blood of Zeus”; for creators Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, it was important to reclaim the original vision of the god of the Underworld.
“Hades was not the devil. He was actually described in many stories as being very fair and just,” Charley Parlapanides told IndieWire. The second season of “Blood of Zeus” (now streaming on Netflix) continues where the first season left off, as Olympus reckons with the shocking death of Zeus. There’s also the matter of Hades allying himself with the first season’s villain, Seraphim, as revealed in a post-credits scene. This last bit...

Win or lose, Ivar has been able to make every battle memorable against everyone from Sheamus to Ricochet to emerging talent like Oba Femi. We caught up with the multi-faceted athlete to talk about returning to his roots in the ring. How was it making the transition to the singles ranks? Ivar: At first, it happened organically. Erik got pulled from the competition on Monday Night Raw. We had 2 out of 3 falls scheduled with New Day. He got pulled, and it ended up being a singles match between me and Kofi Kingston.

There’s one new breed eligible for 2024: the Lancashire Heeler, a small but steadfast member of the Herding Group. The most represented breed this time around is the mighty Chihuahua with 49 total entries, followed by the Labrador Retriever (48) and the Golden Retriever (47). Last year, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen named Ch Soletrader Buddy Holly (pictured), “Buddy” for short, claimed Best in Show. It’s the second straight win for the Hound Group, which has only eight total Best in Show titles. Historically, Terriers are the top dogs at Westminster, having produced 47 Best in Show winners, with 15 of those being Wire Fox Terriers. FS1 and FS2 have live coverage Monday and Tuesday. The Price is Right host Drew Carey tried his best to help on Friday’s (May 10) episode after a contestant couldn’t get to grips with the Big Wheel during the Showcase Showdown. As reported by The Sun U.S., a contestant named Elvira set an unfortunate record as she took multiple attempts to spin the wheel correctly, but repeatedly failed. Elvira started by lightly spinning the wheel, which landed on the number 65. While this would have been a solid score, Carey said it didn’t count because the wheel has to make at least one full rotation. “The wheel has to go around at least once,” the long-time host said as Elvira spun again. However, once again, the wheel didn’t go all the way around; in fact, it finished turning even sooner than the first time, landing on 45. “Here, let me help you out,” Carey said, taking the wheel.

Leary previously starred in the Fox family comedy series The Moodys, which was canceled after just two seasons back in 2021. The comedian will be hoping for better luck with Going Dutch, which is written and executive produced by Joel Church-Cooper (Brockmire). The new show centers on an arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel, who, after an epically unfiltered rant, is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least important army base in the world. After serving with distinction in every warzone of the last three decades, he now finds himself in charge of a base with no guns, no weapons, and no tactical purpose. As Paramount+ works to build a roster of original programming that allows it to compete with the biggest names in streaming, it would likely love to have an international hit on the level of Netflix’s “Squid Game.” With any luck, that hit could come in the form of “Pyramid Game,” a new Korean drama hitting the streaming service this month that appears to combine the intense competition of “Squid Game” with high school teen drama.
Per the show’s official synopsis, Seong Su-ji is a new student at the Baekyeon Girls’ High School. Between the bullies, her studies, and the fight for popularity, high school already feels like a game of survival for Su-ji. But when she’s introduced to a ranking system that chooses class outcasts via secret vote, Su-ji must decide whether to accept her status and its violent fallout or lead an uprising against the Pyramid Game.

From Prom Night to Jennifer’s Body, teen slasher movies have always been a staple in the horror genre. Even if the films don’t always earn positive reviews from critics, viewers never seem to get tired of watching teenagers make painfully bad decisions (“Don’t open that door!”) and get chased through the woods by a masked killer who turns out to be someone in the friend group.
Curiously, however, the subgenre’s popularity hasn’t really translated to TV. There have been a few teen slasher show attempts like MTV’s Scream, Freeform’s Dead of the Summer, and Prime Video’s I Know What You Did Last Summer, but none of them ultimately survived long on air or in the cultural conversation.

It has come down to three on MasterChef Junior Season 9. The finalists heading into the ultimate culinary showdown are 11-year-old Bryson McGlynn,11-year-old Michael Seegobin, and 10-year-old Remy Powell. Getting to this point was no easy task as they had to match Gordon Ramsay in recreating duck a l’orange. The pressure was on with a minute to plate their creations after the intimidating judge finished. Seegobin won the challenge with the other two deemed safe to move on to the next round. Eight-year-old Asher Niles was ultimately sent home. Viewers really saw the emotional toll the competition has had with McGlynn breaking down in tears, not satisfied with his presentation. He strived for perfection and felt the pressure that comes with not wanting to disappoint his family. Seegobin comforted him with a warm embrace in an act of good sportsmanship. [Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Episode 1, “What Can the Damned Really Say to the Damned.”] Interview With the Vampire is back. The Season 2 premiere brought Louis (Jacob Anderson), Claudia (Delainey Hayles), and the ghost of Lestat (Sam Reid) to Europe as they search for more of their kind. The episode ended with a beautiful, heartbreaking monologue from Louis in which he made an important pact with his daughter, one that serves as the jumping off point for the entire season’s arc. In the video above, Anderson, Reid, and Hayles break down that scene, what it was like to film it, and why it’s so important for the plot moving forward. Louis and Claudia had a harrowing experience in Romania both before and after they found the old world vampires. After four years of searching (notice the time jump from the Season 1 finale!), they finally found ...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Episode 1, “What Can the Damned Really Say to the Damned.”] Interview With the Vampire Season 2 is worlds different from what we saw in New Orleans both figuratively and literally. Their “four years of grim wayfaring,” as Louis’ guilt-induced hallucination of Lestat (Sam Reid) said, were done in the hopes of finding more of their kind. Romania was the latest leg of their search, and it was in this bleak land that they finally found what they were looking for. Sadly for the desperately lonely duo, meeting the old world vampires didn’t go as well as they had hoped. They met two vampires unlike anything ever seen in the series, and they put...
