My Demo Reel
Select scenes from the feature film CAMP, in which Matthew Jacob Wayne played one of the lead roles as 'Redford'. Redford is an abused & neglected foster child, spending a week at a special summer camp, for these types of children. Matthew's character "thinks he is an alien, from the planet Zenith", which is all made up in this young boy's head, in order to "shut out the real world" and "protect himself from the fears, anger, and abandonment that he truly must feel". CAMP is a great film, based on real people and true events and was written and directed by Jacob Roebuck, of Roebuck Media Entertainment, in Roswell, NM. Jacob spent time volunteering at one of these "real life camps", with the organization known as Royal Family Kids Camps, here in the U.S., based in Irvine, CA. RFKC has some 178 camps around the country that do just what this film depicts. The film ran in select theaters around the country in spring/summer 2013 and is now available on DVD and Bluray, as well as on Netflix and Amazon view. The film has done extremely well, at the box office, has a 4.5 star rating on Netflix and great reviews, as well as has raised awareness, for the RFKC's around the country and not only garnered charitable donations for the organization, but some 300 additional volunteers at the camps across the country as well, by people who've seen this film. Pretty cool, eh?! Matthew is very proud to have been a part of this amazing film!!
