Rachel Donahue Demo Reel
Rachel Donahue is fresh out of Boston Universitys College of Fine Arts School of Theatre, and has moved back to New York, the city that initially sparked her creative ambition. Along with receiving her BFA in Theatre Arts in 2016, she also graduated from the Accademia DellArte in Arezzo, Italy, where she learned the foundations of Physical Theatre and Comedy. Training from Accademia DellArte and Boston University includes the Linklater Method for Voice and Speech, practices of Grotowski and Stanislavski, Commedia DellArte and mask work, Laban Movement Analysis, the Alexander technique, Musical Theatre, Theatre Production, Writing, and more.
Rachels training also extends beyond BU, and into NYC where she has taken classes at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and with the Atlantic Theatre Company. Her favorite Theatrical credits include Christina in Red Light Winter, The Duchess in The Duchess of Malfi, and originating the role of Sue McGovern in the ArtsImpulse nominated production of The Whitmores.
Favorite film credits include Jill in the webseries Drama and Devon the Waitress in the film All in Time. As of now, Rachel also just wrapped a feature film, Major Arcana, which was shot in rural Vermont. She looks forward to her new life in New York and involving herself in theatre, studio work, and projects that shed light on the human condition. Rachel will begin filming the feature, For the Good of the Child in Ireland in 2018.
