Arbo
A tree is accidental meeting place of nine people who don't know each other, but who all have a special need to be close to that very tree (a European Hornbeam tree). Bizarre interactions develop that even lead to an unintentional murder. In interviews all people involved finally reveal their very reasons for visiting that tree ... a startling contrast to the tree's own indignation about being bothered by those "others", as expressed in the introductory section of the film that sounds like a "fairy-tale" read to children.
"Arbo" really is an eccentric crime story with various threads, visually inspired in part by Sally Potter's "Naked Cinema"-film "Rage".
