Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)
Any child of wit and intelligence will love this show. Like all good high fantasy, the story is seamless in nature, without a hint of falseness. The jokes are funny, the family relationships are true, and the creators obviously feel enormous affection for all their children. It's certainly the finest fantasy cartoon in television history. It never talks down, and no adult should ever be nervous about admitting that they are a fan. Themes of honour and trust motivate much of the narrative, and themes like that are particularly vital to young boys. Since the major characters evolve constantly, there is no telling where this story will end up.
