A forgettable film
This movie is more or less a rough remake of the 1982 Rakesh Roshan film "Kaamchor". Both films share the same basic plot except that the makers of Rajaji tried to incorporate more humor into their movie, albeit unsuccessfully.
Despite the presence of great comedic talent like Govinda, Kadar Khan, Satish Kaushik and Shakti Kapoor, the film lacks good humor. The jokes are stale, the story is predictable and the songs are dull.
All in all, this is one of Govinda's forgettable comedies. I'd recommend "Raja Babu", "Dulhe Raja" or "Saajan Chale Sasural" instead of this movie.
Thundercats - Ho! The Movie (1985)
Thundercats are on the move, Thundercats are loose!
Originally released as a TV movie, "Thundercats HO!" was later split up into 5 separate episodes which became the beginning episodes of the second season of the animated show. In the movie, Lion-O learns that there are three Thunderians who survived the explosion that destroyed their home planet of Thundera and that they are now on Third Earth. The Thundercats thus embark on a mission to locate the Thunderians. However, their mortal enemy, Mumm-ra, spares no effort to thwart the Thundercats' quest.
Apart from the Thundercats and Mumm-ra, the movie boasts a massive cast of returning characters from the first season as well as introducing a host of new characters. Everything about this movie is top-notch. Good animation, clever storyline, interesting characters and great action sequences, this is a must-watch for all Thundercats fans.
Superman Returns (2006)
The World Doesn't Need "Superman Returns"
A lot has been said and written about this movie, both positive and negative. I personally think that this movie falls short of the expectations that people had from the franchise. Since this movie was meant to be a homage to Superman I and II, this is the issue I would like to address.
There are a lot of things that the movie lacks, including a good story but its biggest weakness is Brandon Routh. Just because a guy looks like Christopher Reeve doesn't mean he can act just as well. Routh looks more like Super"Boy" than "Man". Routh doesn't have even half the personality or commanding presence of Chris Reeve. Even without CG, Reeve gave an exceptionally believable performance which Routh, with all the modern technology at his disposal, couldn't. If this movie was made with a cardboard cut-out of Reeve instead of Routh, it probably would have fared better.
This is probably the worst Superman movie after Superman III. So for fans of the original movie(s), I would suggest not watching this movie, ever.
