The movie centers the attention on the "exorcism" activities w/a very weak "Holmes-Watson" routine among these two characters. Know, that the manga (and the anime), is only shounen-ai. So, if anyone is expecting to see BL, don't bother w/this movie, and certainly do not watch it if gore (dismemberment of bodies and blood), is not your thing.

It's too early for ppl to be this salty and 'bad reviewing' the series -there's not a single series that hooks an audience w/its pilot show, fgs! It has a good cinematographic quality, and the script is as expected from a Dan Brown's writing -very cerebral. The show might be entertaining to those who enjoy a good puzzle w/a dose of mystery. I say give it a try ;)

I have to be honest, I never saw this movie in its animation format, but had the general idea of who the character was, and how it was perceived.
IDC what the critics have said about this movie, it was well made, masterfully performed -as expected from two fantastic actresses-, and satisfyingly entertaining. Some said it wasn't necessary to be made, well, so it was the sucky remakes I've seen of other stories. I really enjoyed how the dark backstory of the character could've answered the questions about its persona, and not just guessing about it. The digital "errors" -I honest didn't see any-, were so imperceptible; that NO ONE w/o AN ACTUAL experience or knowledge of how to animate have a valid say. So, go on, and enjoy this movieπ

So beautifully animated and in good taste. If the viewers are not familiar with the manga, then, be aware that it is an adult animation which features very mature subjects -of the psychological kind-, giving an insight of the MC's behavior of certain preferences in his "amorous/casual" rendez-vous.

π A weekend 'MOST SEE', w/o a doubt! This novel needed it to be resurfaced for these times. The director gave to this production a fresh look to this classic. I honestly believe it could've done great on the big screen, tbh π Rob Lowe's character is the reflection of every good loving parent, and was superb, as alwaysπ and McKenna Grace, π± OMG! She was incredible, what a talent! ... She's going places. Congratulations! It was fantastic π
