Were a bit of a goodie goodie family so we edit this one, but the songs are amazing and I watch this movie more often than most other repeat movies and musicals. Highly recommend, give it a few tries and the music will have you captured! Its allot of fun that keeps going at every turn. Michael Phifer does a great job as well as the others in the cast. Such a good feeling of fun and unity in high school. The movie starts great and really builds along the way ending with two great feel good finale acts. So glad my girlfriend made me watch this back in the 90s or I likely would never have discovered it on my own!

Great movie changed my perception of Kennedy! Missing some insights though

The Bay of Pigs invasion by Kennedy caused, or at least strongly influenced the Cuban missile crises. So he gets credit for getting out of a problem he likely created. Despite Kennedy's moral infidelities, this movie helped me become a Kennedy fan, I think he had good intentions and did some amazing things!

Not as bad as many say but yea set your sights low! I loved the original. This one was missing some of the great acting but I still liked the action and Sci Fi. Goldblum is hard to dislike in any movie. He helps save this from a total bomb. I bought a cheap copy on Ebay and will keep it avail for a double feature come 4th each year.
