Nepotism is a crippling disease that lowers the quality of movies, and dominates Hollywood ever-increasingly like almost no other arena.
However, out of thousands of movie nepotists, laws of statistics say that some have to be good or even great. Here's the list of that small number of exceptions.

Whether due to her extremely poor choice of roles/movies, or her overrated and sometimes downright silly performances, or her occasionally laughably unconvincing accents, Meryl has managed to accumulate quite an "impressive" filmography of garbage dramas and other chick flicks.

I've grown tired of other MST3K fans and their often lousy and inaccurate appraisals of individual episodes. Most fans seem to get most of it wrong, so I figured it's time to set the record straight and give you a much better idea of which episodes to seek out and which to avoid.

While their effort is duly noted and appreciated, most of these rabid MST3K fans tend to favour the more childish type of riffing, which is more to be found during the Joel era, i.e. the earlier seasons. Television is loaded with garbage; flooded with drama serials, moronic cop shows, and laugh-track sit-coms, but to dismiss it entirely is a rather snotty and deluded attitude to take. There are always the few gems that wait to be discovered.

The list that proves that practically anyone can be turned into a star, or at least a moderately employed actor. If you can talk, walk and learn lines, you're in. But you do need connections usually.
So you're wondering why (American) movies have been going down the toilet in recent years. There are several reasons, but perhaps the most negative impact stems from the exponentially growing nepotism. It is difficult to find a recent movie in which more than a half of the cast members didn't have influential parents/relatives/friends in the industry before they got their foot in the movie door. (Ditto the film crews).
The list focuses almost solely on actors and directors - hence it doesn't even take into consideration the vast number of bad scripts that have been a result of nepotistic infiltration! Nor does it include the plethora of nepotistic offspring that had appeared only in several smaller roles in fairly meaningless productions. You can click on the bio of just about any better-known actor older than 45 and you'll find that at least half of them have kids who are either actors, producers, or working in film crews.
Tinseltown's elitist jet-set would have us believe that acting "talent" is passed on genetically, but if you believe there is such a thing as an acting gene (or a "charisma DNA") I would like to see some scientific proof of it. Besides, many nepotists on this list come from non-movie, or at least non-acting, backgrounds.
They would also have us believe that nearly all of the world's acting talent has already been collected from all corners of America, that the world's "acting talent pool" has dried up, been totally depleted, so why even bother looking for potential new De Niros and Pacinos amongst the "masses"? Hence the annoying trend of most of the younger stars today having parents in powerful positions in the business.
It would seem that auditions serve very little purpose in Hollywood (and elsewhere), except to weed out the worst from the bad. A typical high-profile Hollywood audition is mostly a who's-who of famous actors' children, all fighting for a shot at fame and cash. It makes one wonder just how many truly bad nepotists never make it! Even a severely talent-free case like David Arquette has beaten out several dozen failed nepotists, i.e. they might be even worse than him. Scary (but fascinating) thought.

I didn't really feel like putting together this list, but the thousands and thousands of my rabid fans begged me to until I finally gave in to their teary-eyed pleads. They were on their knees, sobbing their guts out. How does one reject such a demand? I am not made out of stone.

Nevertheless, even though celebrity glorification is a hobby that lacks any merit and isn't something I ever encourage, one has to give the individuals on this list at least some credit, especially since certain actors and directors here have been victims of "Red-Listing". It takes courage to go against the grain in Hollywood - especially politically.

Their most common victim: the naive brain-washed nerdy film-buff who believes everything Hollywood and French cinema tell him, and who takes movies far too seriously as an "art form" - even going so far as to take flicks as a source of information.
Since WW2, the success of Capitalism in the West has had Western Marxists fuming and foaming at the mouth. How does one fight against something that works - especially when one's own (alternative) ideology has been proven time and time again to be an utter failure? Marxists tried taking concrete physical action by taking their misguided cause to the streets in the late 60s, but it didn't work; aside from a few Soviet-influenced Leftist college professors and a bunch of bored/gullible students, the masses pretty much did NOT want a Red Revolution - in the slightest.
There has been an ongoing, persistent and dirty propaganda campaign by all left-wing elements to discredit Capitalism (hence democracy) in every way imaginable. Nit-picking through its flaws (because Capitalism isn't perfect) - plus making up blatant lies about it: these are the basic methods used.
Marxists realized that the only way to fight something that works in practice is to smear it in theory - or fantasy, in this case: on the big and small screen. Film and television offer the best platforms for disseminating nonsense and fallacies: you simply make a claim, without having to prove it. A perfect vehicle for anyone whose sole aim is to mislead.
Western Marxists will NEVER be appeased until they help bring about the fall of Capitalism and democracy. They are on a mission. It's up to us viewers whether or not this decadent propagandist machine, fueled by sociopaths, quasi-intellectuals and other misanthropes, will eventually bring about this long-awaited negative change and instability - two things Marxists long for with all their hearts.
Economic downfall comes right after moral disintegration and all-encompassing dumbing-down, two more elements Marxists work at ceaselessly. The goal? Destroy the Capitalist/democratic West from within, and then take over once there is economic chaos i.e. when there is a fertile ground for political extremism.
And then? Establish a hardcore dictatorship in which a selected elite of psychopaths will walk all over millions in order to expand their own wealth - under the guise of "creating a new man". Btw, this laughable notion of creating "a new man", i.e. this hopeless undertaking of making gigantic artificial evolutionary leaps, is pretty much what the Nazis had envisioned as well. Just one of many parallels between National-Socialism and Marxism, i.e. one of many similarities between the two extremes which Western left-wing propaganda prefers to keep quiet about - with good reason.
Just to avoid any misunderstandings, the list includes blatant propaganda films disguised as "objective" documentaries i.e. fiction pieces, but it also includes "harmless" entertainment flicks that hadn't been made with the sole and expressed purpose of promoting Leftist ideology, but into which the filmmakers threw in more hidden i.e. less obvious messages and occasional jabs at the Right (and I don't mean the extreme Right).
What the vast majority of Western left-wing propaganda film-makers fail to realize is that even when they have some valid points to make (which is admittedly rare), they make it very difficult for any intelligent or sane viewer to take them seriously because they overload their films with excessive bias and utter nonsense. They use anti-logic, fact-twisting, misquoting, half-truths, manipulative editing, music as over-dramatization, and other simple propaganda tools that make their films the useless sources of information they are.
It's called overkill, and when you exaggerate too much you end up achieving very little. Too greedy. Most of the "documentaries" listed here are so heavily biased that they fail on almost every level (except in exposing the film-maker's ignorance and dishonest intentions), even when their criticism is valid (which, again, is rarely the case).
I welcome all suggestions and criticism. If you are a liberal and feel you must label me a "Fascist" just because I don't share your views, it's your choice. But keep in mind that I have omitted all movies whose primary focus is sending a clear anti-Nazi message, such as "Blood In The Face", even when they were made by Marxist directors. If you can convince me that a movie or TV series is here by mistake, I will remove it.

Just one of many parallels between National-Socialism and Marxism, i.e. one of many similarities between the two extremes which Western left-wing propaganda prefers to keep quiet about - with good reason.
Just to avoid any misunderstandings, the list includes blatant propaganda films disguised as "objective" documentaries i.e. fiction pieces, but it also includes "harmless" entertainment flicks that hadn't been made with the sole and expressed purpose of promoting Leftist ideology, but into which the filmmakers threw in more hidden i.e. less obvious messages and occasional jabs at the Right (and I don't mean the extreme Right).

I welcome all suggestions and criticism. If you are a liberal and feel you must label me a "Fascist" just because I don't share your views, it's your choice. But keep in mind that I have omitted all movies whose primary focus is sending a clear anti-Nazi message, such as "Blood In The Face", even when they were made by Marxist directors. If you can convince me that a movie or TV series is here by mistake, I will remove it.

A combination of nepotism, blindness, bad taste, and gay casting directors (with gay aesthetics when it comes to women) are the reasons why women in film are becoming worse and worse. Whether Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner, Sarah Jessica Parker, Claire Danes, Jessica Biel, Milla Jovovich, Eva Mendez, or Drew Barrymore: increasingly homely and unfeminine women are being hyped as the next sex goddesses of cinema.

The defining traits of these turkeys are that they are illogical, absurd, and far-fetched hence insult your intelligence, bombarding you with nonsense from the word go with laughable plot-twists and silly plot-devices (or with a cretinous conclusion).
NOTE: This is not a list of the WORST films of all time, it's a list of the DUMBEST films. There's a difference, although a number of films here would easily qualify for the WORST list as well.

1) I've decided not to include infamous B-movies from the 50s and 60s.

For all the nit-pickers out there, I didn't place only "full-time" comedians on this list. Most comedians have anyway done dramatic roles as well. Anyone who has done sitcoms and/or at least a few comedies is eligible.
Honesty is a rare commodity these days, so when we do come across it we should admire and appreciate it. These people couldn't tell a lie if they tried, so perfectly trained are they to be truthful.
I have decided not to include any politicians because everyone already knows that they always speak the truth.

It never ceases to amaze me how deeply immersed in denial most celebrity-worshipers are. Even when a pair of breasts is so obviously fake that it almost comes with a factory stamp/seal that says "THESE ARE FAKE", people will still deny it, stubbornly (and insanely) clinging on to their idol's imaginary perfection.
I can guarantee I'm 100% correct on most of the women listed here, with the rest being perhaps 90%. Many of them have appeared nude in films (not talking about the scenes when doubles are used), some have done Playboy, and some of them have freely admitted to having done it. Pre-celeb nude shots, various paparazzi beach photos, plus red-carpet events are also very useful. Fake breasts are aesthetically such a failure, it isn't difficult to spot them even when a woman has two-thirds of them covered.
