The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Strong Story Line, Great Acting, Interesting Series
I dont get the negative reviews. It is a continuation of a series from where the movie left off. Its not 8-10 episodes long with over 50 mins each. Its a interesting start to a well drafted storyline with some very good performances by all. Would definitely reccomend to watch it over a lot of other continuation series of the MCU!
Guns Akimbo (2019)
WATCH IT!!
The Running Man (Arnold Schwarzenegger) meets Nerve (Emma Roberts) meets Kung Fury (David Hasselhoff)!! If you have watched the above three movies and loved them for what they were you will definately love Guns Akimbo. Daniel Radcliff does a superb job as Miles. Personally, I dont think it did enough to become a cult story - though it did have the potential to -but it's a super movie to watch once and get your brain thinking pop culture of underground fight nights, videogames and jealousy that exists in this social media and reality media obsessed world.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
Boundary pushing short stories with stunningly real motion capture and animation!
Netflix out does themselves once again! I thought that Season 2 and Season 3 (Season 4 for me wasn't their best piece of work yet) of Black Mirror was boundary pushing television, but Love, Death + Robots delivers something unique once again!!
18 themed short stories, each one having a unique story with some stunning production value and animation!
Once you start watching you cant stop bingie watching till complete!
Take a bow! Cant watch for Season 2 already!
Morris from America (2016)
Beautiful coming of age movie - Morris from America!
Just watched Morris from America even though it got a 5.6 on IMDb. I usually try and not watch movies below 6 as i end up getting disappointed, but Morris from America was different. It was surprisingly short and beautiful!
As the title says its about the romantic and coming-of-age misadventures of a 13-year-old African-American boy who moves to Germany with his dad and tries to fit in with the other German kids. He falls for a girl at a youth club and through her own growing up pangs encourages him to open up a little and share his rapping.
We've all had that one childhood crush that we fondly remember - puppy love! The director has beautifully narrated a story that captures the essence of growing up and not fitting in, our first crush and pains with our parents and their side of the story and made a pint size gem! So don't go by the rating and watch it when you have the time and want to remember that feeling of puppy love and not really fitting in!
