Lists by heelmaster2000
Some of the shows may not be dark in their entirety but still present darker elements or images on numerous occasions.
These elements may (and sometimes do) consist of death, murder, depression, illegal activities, disturbing or frightening imagery and plots, crude humor or even in some cases just intelligent albeit more mature storytelling to name only a few. If you have any of these series you will probably understand why these shows are on this list.
Now keep in mind none of these films are masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination, but they are still really a pleasure to watch.
Also please keep in mind that the choices on this list are my opinion instead of fact. So if you don't agree with me that is fine, just please don't complain if you have an opposing view.
This includes films, television shows and mini-series, but not short or fan films (penny dreadful's).
I am also not going to add any of the sequels that have little to nothing to do with the original films.
Instead this list will be about the directors who have inspired me, and as each has inspired me in a different way I see them all as equals, and thus they are in no particular order of importance.
The list is in no order.
10 = Amazing
These are the films that I have loved and will always love. They are utterly fantastic in my opinion.
Some of these films are aimed for audiences of around six (6) at the youngest to about fifteen (15).
So if you decide to show any of these films please make sure that they are sutiable for your child's age range.
It is also important to know that I have watched some of these programs already, but have yet to finish them, so that is why some of them are on here.
5 = Poor
These films are not completely god awful, but they are still pretty bad.
These are all the television shows and mini series I have watched over the years. Some I have only seen a few episodes while others I have watched the entire way to date.
Some of these shows I like, some I love while others I moderately tolerate to loathe.
1-4 = UTTER CRAP!
I fully regret watching these horrible pieces of cinematic trash, and will never view them again!
8 = Really Good
These are the films I really love, but they are still lacking something to receive a higher score.
7 = Good
These films are rather enjoyable and fun to watch, but still not great.
6 = Ok (or) Alright
These films are decent but still not that good and definitely do not hold up to repeat viewings,
9 = Great
These are films that I hold with extremely high regard, they are fantastic and always a joy to watch time and time again. But they are just lacking something that is holding them back from receiving a 10.
