Tim at times seems to just be going thru the motions and too often seems negative. I'd like to see April get more air time during the builds. I'd get rid of the constant google references. Those things said, it's really fun to watch what these people come up with.

After the End
(I) (2020)
I wanted to like it, but it sucked

Warning: Spoilers
At 1st, it seemed like it might be a reasonable end of the world movie. Nut once he found the girl, it went downhill. How do 3 guys walk 350 miles without a destination as fast as 2 teenagers on a bike? And the love story was lame. Terrible acting.
How I Met Your Father
(2022–2023)
disappointing

Kim Cattrell and Hilary Duff, how can you go wrong? Well, these writers found a way. Is this group supposed to be in their 20s or 30s? Does the younger generation really act like this? Referring to Lily and. Marshall as some "old couple". It seems more of a rip off of Friends more than anything else.

loving it so far

Warning: Spoilers
I think that I really really hate is when they start with the end and everything else is basically flashbacks. As soon as I realized that the girl shot with the arrow is the main character, I almost turned it off because her story basically became meaningless. Why get invested in a character that we know will die? Think how much more of an impact that ending would have had at the end after we all feel in love with her.
Crawl
(I) (2019)
started out pretty good, but I found myself hoping that one of the gators would get her

Warning: Spoilers
She made idiotic decision after decision, but it wasnt a horrible movie until the basement was flooded. And how big was that basement? Surely having grown up in that house, she should have known more about the sub basement and gators. And what was the point of all of their injuries because they seemed to disappear halfway thru the movie. What was the R rating for? There wasn't even enough gore to score on that front.

The no win scenario
5 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm often critical of drone strikes that take out large numbers of non-combatants. When the choice was the little girl or the 4 terrorists, it was an easy choice to hold fire. But the suicide vests flipped that scenario. At that point, they are going to kill many, and there was still a 1 in 3 chance the little girl survives. You have to play the odds in a no win situation.
I would be surprised if drone operators didn't have to go through extensive training for this sort of scenario. You cannot have a soldier ignoring orders like they did. As I recall, those that have to fire nukes go thru much training to make sure that they will follow orders when the time comes.
I find it inexcusable that a drone would only have 1 type of weapon.

Once again, CGI substitutes for plot
1 December 2019
I literally fell asleep 3 times trying to watch this. Why do movies have to have so much action happen at night and/or in storms? Also, someone needs to determine how big something is, then keep it to scale. The ships, buildings and monsters all seemed to change scale repeatedly.
Love Island Australia

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, what a garbage episode. It used to be that everything that happened, happened for a reason. Once again, an army abandons the defenses of a city and just stands out in the open. What was the point of the golden company? They built a bunch of scorpions, but put them all on then wall with no defense in depth? They only had to deal with a lone dragon now, and none of the scorpions get pointed at it. How do you sneak up on a fleet at anchor from behind when the city should have been protecting their backs? The hound scenes were once again the highlights of an episode this season. Once again the rushing of this season raises it's ugly head when Dany decides out of the blue to kill not the army of Cersei, but the civilians. WTF. Nothing up til now explains why she decides the punish the city itself. Who was Varys writing to, and what was the significance of removing his rings? What was the significance of the golden company's captain's white horse showing up in front of Arya, when they so clearly showed it being killed by dragon fire? That smell you smell is not Flea Bottom, but this episode as it reeks of poor writing in leau of big special effects.

1st 2 seasons are a pleasant surprise but the 3rd season is losing me
1 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I binged watched the 1st 2 seasons over 3 days, but the 3rd season has already taken me 2 days and I'm only halfway thru. I originally found it to be a cute show about how so many little things make us who we are, but there seems to be 1 big problem: shouldn't her list of regrets change as she fixed earlier regrets? For the life of me, I cannot figure out how some her her life choices didn't affect other events afterwards. At one point, she is ultra rich, but some how loses it all. Wouldn't that have jumped up to the #1 regret? And by adding so many other "patients" how do they keep the timelines from interacting if they all live in the same city? Like so many other shows, they ran out of ideas for the original concept and added new plots that just didn't make any sense.
Aquaman
(2018)
very disappointed...again by DC
31 March 2019
Did they forget that all of this was taking place underwater? massive laser battles just makes zero sense. I have the same problem here as with black panther, and that is, the tech is just so far advanced that the movies rely too much on it. And laser battles under water are just ridiculous. I was actually fine with Jason's portrayal of aquaman, but the story line and cgi were just out of place. What happened to good old 1 on 1, good vs evil? Now, ever movie has to have multiple villians. The whole manta story line was unnecessary. And was aquaman indestructible in the comics? I just don't remember that part. And why would underwater beings be weighed done by such outfits? Capes on land at least made sense long ago, but make zero sense in the water. I wish movies would go back to using cgi to enhance the story, instead of the cgi driving the story.

I am not sure which is worse, the horrible plot, the horrible character, or the horrible acting. Sadly, if there ever is an worldwide ELE, this is probably how the survivors would act....lol
never have I wished death on a main character like the idiot in this movie

I saw the list of performers and had so much hope...

Then I watched this total mess of a movie. What was the point that they were trying to make: the only way to move on was to wreck your ex's wedding? Or that ex's really cannot be friends? There was absolutely nothing likable about the main character.
Almost....

Warning: Spoilers
It didn't take too long to figure it out. It could have been better at making me wonder if I was wrong. There was a point, with a little push, I might have believed that she had killed her mom, and dad was killing the others to protect her, but it just didn't quite make it to that point. It would have helped explain her sudden agoraphobia.
