Midsomer Murders (1997)
When, when, when will we get to see the new programs in America???? A&E are you listening? PBS perhaps? BBC America? We are dependent upon the kindness of strangers. Love Midsomer Murders. Miss it terribly. Three generations of my family's women love this show. Bring it back, bring it back, bring it on back to me!! To quote Queen.
This and Waking the Dead are missed most terribly. Is there anybody out there listening? And while we're discussing shows I want to see here in the Colonies, where is Sea of Souls? Put Robson Green, John Nettles or Daniel Casey in the sensibly priced car on Top Gear at least!!
A Wire in the Blood, Waking the Dead and Midsomer Murders night would be most welcome here. We need good cottage mysteries here in the States. We're stuck with W and Cheney until the next election. I'm not sure I'll survive. Please give us some small solace. Help!!
Balls of Fury (2007)
If I could have given this piece of garbage negative stars, I would have. The plot is terrible, they take two bad jokes and beat them to death with a sledgehammer. Why some talented people agreed to be in this is beyond me. Did Christopher Walken need to make a car payment? Don't waste your money - even when this pile of poo comes out on DVD.
My husband liked the fight scene between Maggie Q and Jason Scott Lee, but that is about the only recommendation I can give it. There are some talented people in the film and they seem to actually try to do their best with material that isn't even fit to be called substandard.
I've only seen two movies as bad as this one - Bloodrayne and Sympathy for the Devil. Even The Weatherman was better than this.
