Doctor Who: The Moonbase: Episode 4 (1967)
An excellent episode, a good story
The last time I watched "The Moonbase", it was many years ago. I thought it was pretty good. What do I think of it now? It's pretty good. The first three episodes have moments where it unfortunately drags. However, Episode 4 is non-stop excitement, it's a battle between man and machine. If I had to nitpick, I didn't like that all the men infected with the virus seemingly were not cured.
Episode 1 - 7/10
Episode 2 - 8/10
Episode 3 - 6/10
Episode 4 - 10/10
Total - 7.75/10
Kamen Raidâ: Chameleon-The God of Death: Duel at the Abandoned Expo (1971)
Brilliant
This is so great, in many ways. I love it!
I would recommend to fans of Japanese media, Nazi movies, superheroes, Asian people, or if you exist, just watch this episode.
Doctor Who: The Underwater Menace: Episode 3 (1967)
So close to greatness
A lot of people don't like this episode or this story in general. I however, have been really enjoying it. This episode is very fun, well written, etc. It's ruined by two things. The first, minor thing, is the roughly one minute sequence of the fish talking to each other. The music is bad, the effects are mostly silly, it's a waste of time. The second, biggest thing, is how moronic Polly is. She seems to be unable to fight for herself or for anyone else. Despite the fact that we've seen her do just that in other episodes. When Ramo is fighting Zaroff, Polly's just off to the side like a child. The only reason she escapes Zaroff later on is because Jamie saved her. This is a very good episode with an issue that stabs at me.
