Dirty Dancing (1987)
To say the best it's got very good dancing.
Yes to say the best this does have very good dancing and John Travolta and Jennifer Gray make great lead characters in their roles too.
Yes you must watch this film for yourself to see as well as feel how the romance,Music, and dancing can touch your heart too.
I even recall very well how much that I'd really enjoyed this film once I had watch it on HBO many years ago.
The only other that I can think of when I think of Jennifer Gray's others is Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Just like any role that John Travolta is in he does a great acting job.

Grease is the word.
Yes this much is true Grease is the Word.People can most enjoy this for its Musical numbers.
It has a great 1950's TV Star cast Including Eve Arden,Dodi Goodmam, and Sid Caeser.
Danny and Sandy think the world of each other upon meeting at the beach but sadly bor both of them when Sandy and her parents won't be going back to Austalia like they thought things between Danny and Sandy turn out not to be quite the same but they still can't accept it and upon constant splits and reunitings by the films end without giving too much away it has a happy ending.

Escape from Tomorrow?
Well they had to entitle it somehow?Yes Agreeably with other reviews It starts off as typically like the other ape installments like Planet of The Apes;Beneath and "Escape" with a typical space craft's landing in the 1st 2 one Astronaught dies upon landing like in this series episodes'opening while in the 3rd one of the 3 ape-o-naughts survives upon landing but still met an eventual sad ending like of Taylors 2 other partners while the other became a vegetable short and to the point.
But Back to This opening episode 1st they get rescued after being found by a human who left they're partner Jones behind because he'd died and upon being asked this. Then when one of them asked if there were humans on the High Council That man thought that was a real joke question.Later when this human tried to mislead the gorillas to help them escape and only to be shot when Virdon then asked them "Why'd you do this to that mad when he was only helping us?"Then he was hit with the back of the gun. They were also surprised at humans revolting like never before.
Later on when Burke and Urko had escaped Galen accidentally as he told shot the Gorilla only meaning to keep him from using the gun but didn't mean to kill him.Later Virdon told him while he was in his cell to step back so that the bomb wouldn't kill him but just break the lock.So that's how Galen got to be there friend and Fellow Fugitive. Some sources Like in the Book of "Harry and Wally's Favorite TV-Shows." indicate he may be a Descendant of Cornelius but maybe more realistically an Ancestor of Cornelius considering this is in the 31st century and Cornelius and Zira came out of The 40th Century through a Time warp and in The 21st century their Son "Caesar"or Milo as they named him, before he got his new name of Caesar for leading his crusade of apes as their Victor, and his son Cornelius had gotten murdered by Aldo. After which came the little or not known Peace time between "Battle",Yes in this they do have humans on the high council, and Episode One:Escape from Tomorrow.Of which I brought to Malibu Graphics'attention and they were just as annoyed by me as they were glad to have me there for them. Then in Boom Comics when they adapted Planet of the apes it opens up in 2680 and 2 years after in "Battle", when The Ape Law giver tells the story to an equal society of humans and apes, with in this a human in a ninja suit jumps down & kills the Ape Lawgiver which starts to diminish this little or not known peacetime with the apes and humans fighting among each other.
By the way the best example as to how they didn't do their homework upon writing this in this episode is that they show an ape boy with his dog of whom he calls Dog.Which brings to mind how in a Malibu graphic comic they showed some wolves in a story of which were taken in a bubble before the plague came and then were brought back after the plague ended that killed all cats and dogs but was harmless to humans and at first the apes were new pets but then made into slaves and with the help of machines to raise their intelligences could follow orders but not talk until Caeser taught them how to.

Planet of the Apes: The Trap (1974)
Two Enemies but only one choice until further notice.
Yes upon an earth quake's resulting in Burke's and Urko's only hope for survival that they must work together.
Earlier what lead Urko to find Burke was that upon leaving the home of that Human Family and Urko in response to another gorilla's query of how he knew they lied that you just always know that humans are lying. Then he said"I'll have to remember that."But upon being trapped underground when Burke tells Urko a story of how humans with telephone could call average distances Urko didn't like hearing that and so Burke then changed it from real human history to fake ape ape history. He Saw The Zoo sign of The Gorilla in the cage but still hoped to distract Urko from seeing it but with no luck. When Virdon,Galen, and this era's Dr.Zaius showed up right above and Virdon used Morse code tapping on the Beam to ask Urko's Wife's name and he said Ulsa and then relayed that message right after that when Urko was about to show Burke The Poster that he couldn't distract him from seeing he then Said "So I Lied."Then he said to him.Listen Urko I lied to you just to keep you from getting mad at me so that I could continue to help you to get out of here, you find out I'm lying and you still get mad at me Now listen Urko because you didn't want to know the truth that your ancestors swung from trees and were kept in cages."then Urko used his knife to as Burked planned it go straight into the socket of the solar powered lamp of which he'd taken the bulb out of,while hanging the others on a wall like structure, for in case help from above came and of which it did. Then lo and behold it did and part of the agreement was fulfilled that not just that they'd be set free but that Burke would be pulled out before Urko and after which when it was found out how Burke injured Urko with The Solar powered lamp and Virdon said "you said you'd set us free."Then Zaius said "No Bargains with humans but I gave my word,go before I change my mind."Then Zauis and the other apes looked at the Zoo Poster of the Gorilla in the cage and The children looking at him. While Galen and Virdon had Burke resting upon their shoulders to hold him steady while he'd walk between them.

Planet of the Apes: The Deception (1974)
Agreeably the best episode of "Planet of The Apes."
Yes Agreeably to the media as well as my to my whole family and I when otherwise as pointed out in The Book of "Harry's and Wally's Favorite TV-Shows."That upon making this TV-Series Spin-off when the Movies had already been sequelled to death. The charm and charisma of this episode from the Friday Night of November 1,1974,and how I do remember this being the date from going to Church that night because it's a holy day of Obligation.,Fauna being an ape and being blind was heart touching but sadly Burke had to deceive her and have Galen's face felt by request. It Was Burke's voice alone that made her fall in love with him. Some dastardly plot by some apes was going on and so then yes Galen,Burke, and Virdon with the help of some soldier apes had to get to the bottom of it.It was an arsenal scheme.
Later when they came back to tell one soldier ape of how it flowed through and the one who they were really seeking walked right in saying "Yes I understand,we all look alike,"Than when Fauna felt Burke and found out that she was deceived and Burke said to her "sorry that I had to deceive you now you wont be seeing me that is hearing my voice again in these parts "later said in conclusion she said I still can't believe that I actually fell in love with a human." Then he kissed her Goodbye.

My Cartoon Prediction that came true plus other data.
Yes I predicted that there'd be a Planet of the apes cartoon the year before it came true.
Agreeably it's a mess but also still goes out of bounds of the website of Monkeying with the time-line.
Just like for the "Planet of the apes."TV-Series."Dolls they made a mistake because of the movie of "Beneath the Planet of the apes."and made Ursus the one with the helmet while on the TV-Show it was Urko who wore the helmet and so then just to satisfy the customers they switched the 2 dolls of which they'd made the mistake with.It also was an easy thing to do because this takes place in the 31st century while The Cartoon like the 1st and 2nd Planet of the apes Movie took place in the 40th century but in the cartoon it's Urko with helmet like in the TV-Series and as mentioned it's a blend of characters from The Series of Movies and The TV-Series that followed.
In this all over again like in the 1st movie called Planet of The Apes It's news when Cornelius and Zira do hear Bill Hudson Speak then he introduced himself by name and they let him go but know that the guard overheard them and so upon letting him out of the cage they then posed it like he got the keys, knocked them out locked them in the cage, and escaped.
On Nova's Dogtag it indicates another Brent born in 2076.As it was told that like in the novel by Pierre Boule The Apes had cars and advanced Science & like in the original film to be released of which also had Charlton Heston as Taylor and Edward G.Robinson as Dr.Zaius but he passed away before they could complete it and so they then did it over and I know this from the Special on Bravo called "Behind The Planet of the Apes."It also includes mention of Planet of The Apes:The Forbidden Zone."of which was not only released by Malibu Graphics but was made possible by me after I wrote to them about their 4 issue Mimi-series of Planet of The Apes:Blood of the apes and the misquote of the ape on the cover saying "Ape must never kill ape unless it's his job." so in making this and the other time Paradoxes make sense in the above mentioned title that I made possible with the little or not known peace time from "Battle" the fifth installment of the moves.Malibu Graphics had later got consumed by Marvel Comics and of which was the first Comics Group to adapt "Planet of the apes." Malibu had also acknowledged this cartoon in their introduction to "Ape Nation" in Ape Nation #1 of which blends/blended Planet of the Apes and Alien Nation and was doable because they're both 20th century Fox Productions. While at DC in the mid 80's a Star Trek/V crossover wasn't possible because they were by separate studios and in this order both Paramount and Warner Brothers.
But back to the cartoon Bill got coined by Zira as "Blue Eyes" while Taylor got coined by Zira as "Bright eyes."in the 1st Movie.
A Land quake consumed Judy but upon going underground Bill and Jeff bound her and she got to leave with them she got coined USA by Crador, yes it sounds kind of like Crator. who was the head of the Underdwellers because of the headstand found that looked like her and said USA on it.
This cartoon has a near happy ending in the last episode but without giving too much away while at The End of "Battle."there really is a happy ending.
This cartoon has a Dr.Zaius like in the 1st 2 movies while the Dr.Zaius in The TV Series is set in the 31st century. This cartoon like The 1st 2 movies is set in the 40th Century but still doesn't agree. Jeff was voiced by Austin Stoker and as said was the only Movie Ape Alumnist to return for this cartoon as you'll see ina follow-up.

The Worst Three Stooges Long Movie ever Made
Yes as The Renowned Movie Critic,Leornard Maltin from Entertainment Tonight Fame had put it very well in his TV,Movie, and Video Guide even kids will find this film to be Stodgie.
It has no plot to speak of it may have a few funny moments like when Curley Joe makes his 3 wishes on the magic sword to not give too much away but the stupidest aspects as we may all agree are the ice skating scenes.
Perhaps because sometimes compared to others a remade variation of a Fairy Tale just can't be spread over a 2-hour block.

Half Shot Shooters (1936)
Short and to these points it's The Worst Three Stooges Short subject ever made.
Yes this is The worst Three stooges movie serial that was ever made.
It's depressing both for how because they're poor and hungry they do accidentally rejoin the Army after 17 years as another reviewer pointed out and because they as you'll see why they do so as well as because they end up with the same horrible Superior Soldier in charge of them again.
Without giving too much away this ends just as sadly as it starts off, stays this way in the middle, and ends this way too.
Any time I see the title of the feature when it's on with the other Three Stooges Features on my Local Station of mytv-38(as it's currently addressed and as it's always been whether as TV-38 or UPN- 38 was always the #1 watching Stooge station in all of the Nation.)I just turn off the TV for 20 minutes and do something else.

Grease 2 (1982)
This time around Grease doesn't fit the word.
Yes agreeably on both counts as they said on "Hot Ticket"My Local Bostonian Critic of Joyce Kulhawik and the Critic best known from Entertainment Tonight of Leornard Maltin."It's a Turkey."Also as the TV-Guide review even said This Sequel or "Sequel" as it may be more suitably put goes nowhere in song and story.Meaning As my Mom,Mary said "They didn't want to be blamed for recommending it." meaning before anyone would/might watch it on TV. Yes not even the cameos of the Grease Vets from The first Grease Movie make it any better.Yes with DiDi Kahn as "Frenchy" but as a teacher this time around;Sid Caeser as the Gym Teacher;Eve Arden as The Principal:and Dodi Goodman as The Secretary.
Yes this time around "Grease" is not the word.
I even saw this the day before my High school Graduation from Framingham South in 1982.
My Big Sister Maureen and her friends of whom she saw it with along various others who saw it also agreed and with the help of word spreading it also flopped at The Box Office.
If you watch it you might watch for Michelle Pfeifer both after she starred in Coconut Grove 2 years prior in the Box Office Film as well as when she starred in the short lived TV-Show of "Delta House."

One of Corey Haim's roles if not Corey Haim's best role.
It's a pretty good film showing a boy who's not popular but still variably appreciated in the end for his efforts short and to these points.
Yes it's portrayal of an outcast who still manages to have a girlfriend.Yes The now late Corey Haim may well have been typecast as an outcast as we may see from film to film and even on TV like in "Roomies" later on.
Yes Lucas' love of bugs doesn't even draw his girlfriend away from him anymore than when they go to a concert underground where he can move the round lid & ask some man above to lend him his program but without giving to much away we get to see how in the end Lucas get's to be appreciated more and more.
What can anyone also say but sadly Corey Haims's Star had faded upon his getting older.
