I am a tad to cynical to laugh easily. I have seen many, many TV shows - and I laughed plenty watching the first episode. I have seen the Evil Dead movies as a younger person and I was concerned that this would not match my expectations. Wrong! Bruce is fantastic in the role of Ash (who else could play that role) and he has an excellent cast of colleagues. Such a good blend of humour and horror. Kudos to Sam Raimi, Bruce and all involved. Excellent entertainment. While being a horror buff in my younger days, I now prefer horror with a twist - and preferably humour as the twist. Hoping that the fun will continue for the rest of the season.

What an excellent series!

Yes, Bosch is great! Strong characters, top notch acting (by both the good and bad guys/gals)and excellent story plot(s).I gobbled up the episodes in no time. There is a good balance of suspense, drama and "feel-good" stuff. The photography too is very good and I felt literally "transported" to California. Wow! The view from Bosch's house....amazing. I am not there physically, but it felt like I was. Impressive.Having multiple, parallel story tracks (court case, death of a boy and the serial killer)series works well. The acting is good across the board with Bosch and the serial killer at the top of my list - not to mention Bosch's girl friend, whom I found just plain beautiful. I sincerely hope that Amazon will produce more Bosch. The sooner, the better:):)
