I would just like to say....
I feel bad for Disney having to put up with all of the wordy, yet quite blunt comments it's probably seen on this movie. The Little Mermaid 2, believe it or not, was very entertaining to a lot of people, and not just on this site. If it helps you any, it's basically intended for children, but many of you seem to act a bit immature to say the tings you say. Like most of you have said, it sucked, it was dull, so-and-so was a wash-up, yet I have to disagree. You have also said that it doesn't compare to the original. Why do you think they call the originals Disney classics? No Disney sequel will ever be called a classic, because it wasn't the first, it was a sequel. I like this movie a lot because it does have a lot of character to it. You have a happy couple, their twelve year old daughter, yet a secret for her own good. She wonders about the secret when a part of her life is discovered, like any normal teenager would. Now, Some people would like to have their parents tell them that they keep them away from certain things for their own good. but in this case, if that were so, there would be no story. DUH! Now, this is mostly an opinion poll, and you all have your opinions. Yet, I do too, so if you don't like, along with the other people who have said positive things about The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, well...
SOL(Sorry outta luck) for you.
I'm sure Disney appreciated hearing its creations suck. Let's see you try it.
The Next Karate Kid (1994)
I am truly sad that this is the first bad review I've ever made for a movie...EVER.I could stand to watch this movie, and it is the second movie in all the movies I've seen that is just...a downgrade. The first is Open Water, that just had NO point whatsoever. The Next Karate Kid didn't have any mention of Daniel(correct me if I'm wrong, please.),and that ending line came as a shock. It was like, "If must fight...win." then it showed the bird flying around and the pan flute was playing, and I was like, oh. Okay, so it'll take a while for this next part. AND THEN THE CREDITS HIT THE SCREEN.
GEEZ MAN!! Hopefully, I will never have to review a movie in a bad manner again, I apologize for those of you who like The Next Karate Kid, I really, really do...
Treasure Planet (2002)
Not the best Disney Movie I've seen, but pretty freakin close.
Sorry Treasure Planet haters but I love this movie. I recently(sad to say recently the book is so old.)read Treasure Island, and I have to agree with you when you say it's a bit disappointing, only on account of the fact that the book was so great. But don't get me worng! I freakin loved this movie! The only thing I didn't like was Jim's stupid father. He just left...how...stupid. But one thing I loved was how they changed that annoying 'Pieces of Eight!Pieces of Eight!'parrot to cute lovable morph. I hate that parrot! She totally got Jim in trouble when he was coming back to the cabin. I also loved how Jim got rid of his pierced ear and long bangs and ponytail near the end. Yay modesty! Sorry I'm such a freak, but guys don't look good with ponytails or earrings. OK well, all I have to say now is I think Treasure Planet is a great children's movie! Treasure Island though is now my favorite book of all time.
