Fucking Åmål (1998)
First I'll start off by saying this was an awesome film. I love the way it was shot (looked almost documentary like), the musical accompaniments, and especially the two starlets performances--I most definitely would like to see other films featuring Rebecca Liljeberg and/or Alexandra Dahlstrom.
Does anyone know the significance of the chocolate milk? It appears twice, at the start and end of the film; at the start, it may just serve as a tool to show the relationship between Jessica and Elin (two typical sisters who fight and make up constantly) and is actually kind of cute. At the end though, we see the whole chocolate milk thing re-emerge only this time Elin and Agnes are finally a couple and have braved through a whole bunch of emotions, confrontations and social humiliations to get to that point...and then we have chocolate milk lol. I don't get it, will someone enlighten me?
