Bar Fight! (2022)
Promising cast, but lacks a lot of elements.
I feel like the events and key moments for this film weren't well planned or executed. There were some surprising scenes once in a while, but there just wasn't enough excitement in them and when there was, it quickly faded out. On one minute I was happy that something happened and then the next minute it gets taken away. Kinda upsetting.
A few songs in between scenes would have made a huge difference, but instead there were waaay too many silent scenes that weren't even interesting. A good soundtrack would have set the tone for the film and given more emotion to it.
It's a pitty though, cause the plot seemed kinda fun and most actors are great. It just really lacks some action and more interesting characters. For a comedy movie, there should really be some funny/happy scenes. I didn't come close to laughing once.
The Flight Attendant (2020)
A thrilling adventure with a few loose ends
I thought the series were quite entertaining, but sometimes there's a little too much of some elements. What are all the rabbits and the dead deer about?? There is no explanation of the meaning of those symbols which appeared a lot especially near the end. I thought they were a bit over used, and the same applies to all the scenes between Cassie and the dead guy. I thought it was annoying at one point because I was excited to see what the story was bringing but they kept coming back to the hotel room with the same old dialogs... why keep coming back to a dead person who has nothing new to say...? Anyway, it was worth watching it and I hope they make a second season with some improvements.
The Two Popes (2019)
Great Production!!
I wasn't expecting such an interesting and rich story behind this movie, which also has funny, intelligent, and emotional moments. The acting was simply exceptional and at some points I felt like those were actual popes on the screen.
Very well done! I recommend it for everybodyn regardless of their religious point of view.
Living with Yourself (2019)
Nice, but lacks something.
I like the plot of the series, Paul Rudd is a great actor and the effects are really well done, but I thought most of the story was depressing. It doesn't have any laughable scenes and the humour was very scarce. There were so many possibilities of funny situations envolving the twins and that would have made me enjoy the show a lot more.
