Inhumans (2017)
9/10
Loved it

I should rate it 10 instead of 9 just to reflect how fun it was. While it had plenty of cheese, the offended noses were pointed upwards. Many didn't watch it if you read their reviews they even got the story wrong. I've never seen so many plagiarized negative reviews. I read Inhumans might be resurrected in some form. I'm all for it if it again casts Serinda Swan as Medusa and Anson Mount as Black Bolt. Otherwise, I'll probably pass like I do for the vast majority of superhero comics which actually are too dumb.

Fond memories 12 years later.
14 June 2021
I loved this show and its terminators, and it's amazing that I still think about it (the characters pop into my mind) over a decade later. So it's ironic that I found its flashbacks in time as too many and the one dull part of the show. Otherwise, it was a solid 10 and I don't know how it got cancelled. Were the ratings that bad or were the deciders pushing their new lame plaything? (The way it seemed.) I just saw Shirley Manson's band released a new album. Garbage, rightfully, didn't go to waste.

Enjoyable

I'm biased against reality shows which this is, so a 7 rating is high. Bear has a dirty job but it's not a real dirty job, otherwise I could give a 9 or a 10 for real reality. This is the second episode I've watched and the other was with Roger Federer. The episodes were equivalent in that I wanted to know what Roger and now Cara were up to and to see another side of them - although I knew a lot about Roger and extremely little about about Cara. I had only seen her in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and then in Paper Towns. I found her intriguing and read some of her bio on Wikipedia which I've already forgotten other than she is bizarre about romance. I thought the character she played on (the juvenile) Paper Towns was her virtual bizarre self. After watching her on this Running Wild, I have a different view. First, hearing her English accent (I had forgotten she was the UK) was messed up at first but I quickly stopped hearing the accent. Bear asked and she really opened up about her upbringing, personal thoughts and such and she came off as remarkably honest even though it's typical for celebs to say how insecure they were. In a way, I had not expected to like her and figured she would be aloof. Who knows if she's aloof, but she didn't come off that way. Definitely likable and talented. With a little more training, she could team up with the crocodile hunter. Animals in the wild is better than mountain climbing for me. Either or, they're more staged than real. That's ok when you want to learn about interesting people or animals. Mountain climbing is good for movies or moments like this, otherwise not compelling.

Hell on Wheels: Bear Man (2014)
Season 4, Episode 6
1/10
Loogie is too good a word for this episode
9 September 2014
The worst piece of crap episode ever created. Anyone who watched HellOnWheels the first time would never watch it again. Not a chance. Anybody on the fence would be out. They've had enough sketchy stuff this year but a whole episode just to set the uber ridiculous circumstances for Elam's return should get a lot of people fired. 5 minutes would have been too much to bear.

HellOnWheels started as a revenge western then went sideways and then backwards with the Swede apparently dropping acid (which didn't exist) killing people like Lilly. His character is great but to prevent the ongoing theater of the absurd, they shouldn't have brought him back. The writers are clearly on acid. Let's have the actual Brigham Young enlist the evil Swede to sabotage the railroad! Why not? Let's all take acid! The absurd peyote western where we make up it as we go like none other! The more asinine, the more absurd, the worse the hellhole that is Hell on Wheels.
