HALLOWEEN and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET get a lot of credit for being classics, and they are also book-ends for the "Golden Age" of slasher films; HALLOWEEN kickstarted the slasher craze in 1978 and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET ended it in 1984, ushering in bigger budgeted and more special-effects-laden horror.

In your opinion, what is the most underrated slasher film from the "Golden Age?"
