Rough Cut (1980)

As interesting as watching paint dry!
29 May 2023
This film is an utter waste of time! Utterly drab, pathetically slow and boring; an absolute snooze-fest! Even the so-called 'action sequences' are so ridiculously amateurish and stupidly boring that it would be hard to suppress yawns.

The acting of the entire cast is utterly wooden and pathetically mechanical. Burt Reynolds walks through the whole film like an expressionless robot or zombie.

The plotline was pretty interesting, but the movie has been totally let down by the director Don Siegel who turned the movie into a sleep-walking sequence. Stephen Spielberg or James Cameron would have turned the same movie into a pulse-pounding thriller.

Utterly boring and insipid

Stupid, utterly boring snoozefest!

Bad acting! Stupid, boring, plodding plotline.

Tries very hard to come across as very high-brow, (pseudo)intellectual entertainment.

Utterly unbearable! Inane, dull and headache-inducing!! What are they trying to achieve here?!!

Brilliant Arthurian Fantasy series. Compulsive viewing.

This is a brilliantly directed, gripping Arthurian fantasy series about the famed 'Lady of the Lake'. Awesome, mesmerizingly beautiful cinematography. Brilliant pacing and beautiful background score.

Gripping, Compulsive viewing. Binge-watch worthy!

Pathetic, tame rip-off of LOST

Dull, boring plotline. A shameless rip-off of LOST with teenaged female protagonists. Utterly, insipid, uninspired acting. A total let-down

A travesty
24 October 2020
This is nothing but a pathetic pile of crap! Utterly ridiculous plotlines, utterly incompetent directing, miserably poor acting! Utterly boring snoozefest! This series is an utter travesty and a blemish on the 'Walking dead' franchise. Do not waste your time on this.

An utterly boring snoozefest
11 October 2020
I expected this to be taut and gripping, like 'The haunting of hill house', but it turned out to be an utter snoozefest! Extremely slow paced, utterly dull and boring! This was just plain serious drama. The stuck-up fake Brit accents of most of the characters was borderline annoying and made this series even more intolerable.

An Unforgettably beautiful Anime'. Utterly mesmerizing!
18 August 2018
This is one of the greatest and most beautiful Anime' films I have ever seen. This is way up there in the same league as the greatest creations from Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli like 'Spirited Away'. This is a delightful surprise coming from a Mainland China Animation Studio. Breathtakingly beautiful, magical animation! A hauntingly beautiful background score. An awesomely gripping and mesmerizingly beautiful storyline and screenplay. Absolutely brilliant English language dubbing! The intense human drama and emotional appeal of the film touches you to the core and leaves a lasting impression. Simply unforgettable! A masterpiece! Worth seeing again and again. Very highly recommended.

Utterly boring, slow, stupid movie
25 May 2018
A total waste of my time. An utterly boring, slow, plodding snoozefest. Filled with glaring plot-holes that even a moron would be able to spot and totally devoid of any common sense and logic. John Krasinski cannot act for the life of him; his performance is utterly hammy and cringe worthy. All in all, an excruciating painful film to sit through; a typical confusing 'indie-prod' with laughable pretensions of intellectual sophistication.

Pathetically bad. A steaming POS
1 April 2018
Miserably boring. Plodding, slow pace. The acting of every cast member is so utterly wooden, amateurish and pathetically bad that it looks like this series was made by a group of junior-high kids. Just cannot believe that this series was made under the DC banner. Every episode is an excruciating ordeal to sit through, This is one of the worst tv series made in recent history. What makes it even worse is the near incomprehensible British cockney accents of the entire cast. Could they not find any American actors to cast in this production? Hell, this is supposed to be about Superman's grandpa and about the planet Krypton; Superman is about Truth, Justice and THE AMERICAN WAY. They've got the accents all wrong!!
