Lists by crimson66
Just a side note, like all my lists, there is no specific order whatsoever to this list. With lists featuring dozens and dozens of people, it's far too difficult to rank each one in order. But I'm always open to suggestions to amend my lists with people whom you feel are deserving to include.
Should also note, most of my lists are a work in progress. So any names whom you feel were omitted likely were not done intentionally.
By far the most useless and most obnoxious actresses who plague modern cinema with their blatent lack of talent and inherent presence in film and television. While a few of these actresses were at one time considered as talented, they have long overstayed their welcome and should have faded away years ago. The majority of these actresses are just pretty faces and nice curves, but without their beauty and expensive makeup no one would care about them as they are a dime a dozen. Lastly, this list is filled with several vastly overrated actresses who got lucky here and there with great supporting casts and brilliant directors, but in reality are absolutely terrible actresses on their own.
I've seen thousands of movies and this list of worst actresses is not some random list of names. However, there is no specific order to this list. If you cannot discern opinion from fact then don't post any comments. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean you have to cry and complain. Remember that quality is more important than quantity.
It's also important to note that some of the actresses on this list have the ability and potential to become well acclaimed. However, their body of work determines their credibility as actresses. Excelling in one dramatic film role and then regressing to several mediocre films ultimately discredits you as an actress. With the advent of CGI into film, acting has become debased as special effects has replaced plot, character development, and dialogue altogether. New generations are raised as drones, told what to like and what to purchase by mass media.

This list represents every film I've ever seen. I will add every movie I can think of that I have watched previously. However, I must have watched around half of the movie at least because anything less should not qualify as having been seen. Short films, documentaries, tv movies, etc. will not be considered, only feature films. I've arranged the list in the most efficient way, and that is by director.
Simply a list of all the directors of films that I've seen. It's used to correspond with my list entitled Every Film Seen.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so this is obviously a subjective list based on my taste. There is no order to this list either. Likely there will be women from all ages who may appear on this list. Well maybe 50-60 is pushing it, though remaining sexy at that age is truely a testament of beauty. The main stipulation is that I must have seen them in film and/or television rather then see them in some photograph. Pictures are often deceiving.
List currently under construction as imdb's character database is terribly disorganized and poorly put together. Many notable characters don't even have a imdb url, thus they are not searchable. Also important to note that many characters don't have any photos in their gallery and imdb doesn't let you add photos yourself. Many characters also have very few photos in their gallery, often with poor photos to choose from. Ideally, imdb should edit the cast pages on films by modifying the character names and such. Then they should modify the character pages themselves making sure they are current and useful. The list, as with all my lists, has no specific order.
During the 90s and carrying into the 2000s, the massive influx of pop stardom and reality shows gave birth to a whole new generation and whole new culture. Whereas in the past it was generally considered that those who were famous in the entertainment world had either worked hard for what they had achieved and/or displayed one or more tangible talents which held them in high regard in society. Due to the advent of handheld cameras in the 90s, this started a viral subculture that lowered the bar seemingly forever. Now not only can amateurs make films cheap and by the dozen, but the beginning of the Kardashian era had begun to take form. Rapid technological advances in media as well as with Internet Service Providers transformed the supposed subculture into a mass media production of epic proportions. With the cult-like influence of social networking and mass media, we are manifesting ordinary people into pseudo-celebrities. In technical terms it's called delusions of grandeur or megalomania.
Many of the actors and actresses in tv and film are spawned from this culture. Society as a result is celebrity obssessed as well as a deep rooted fascination with apperance and image. So what we have is an entertainment industry designed to opiate the masses with all our superficial desires. The film studios act as the funding to keep the train going along, pumping out blockbuster after blockbuster with budgets closing in on half a billion. Each movie is designed as a product to target every demographic and is carefully analyzed through focus groups to maximize viewer audiences. The people who go to see these movies multiple times are in affect now hooked onto their product. Now with a society that encourages these types of movies also praises the pretty and handsome actors/actresses that are apart of the casts. Normally you will have a few character actors and one or two people that are trending in entertainment and that consists of the cast. Since it's become so affordable to make a movie with a digital camera, many of these movie viewers now, after becoming megalomaniacs, will follow a similar formula as the film studios and will try to capitalize on whatever is currently trending in hollywood. For instance, many new directors are taking advantage of the hollywood goldmine of doing remakes, sequels, prequels, reboots, and even collaberations with other movies. As if adaptations from comic books and video games wasn't enough already, they will combine them and make sequels now. So now we have an entertainment industry which has helped create this disgrace that we call 'cinema' and the mentally-ill, obsessive fans who adore celebrities alive or dead.
Among these actors and actresses a common characteristic holds true. They walk around with a false sense of accomplishment when in reality they have helped perpotrate our society to praise gluttony and excess, creating a mass nation of drugged zombies. They indoctrinate the youth to believe the notion that you don't need to have any talent or skill to succeed. But rather, being pretty and being fashionable and trendy compensates for any supposed lack of talent. They also imply that art and substance are meaningless. With all these amateur supposed filmakers making all this cheap rubbish, often even shooting in a few weeks at a time, actors and actresses can now pump out dozens of films a year for their braindead audiences to twitter about. The term exclusive does not exist anymore hardly in film nor in society. Art has become a mass produced item that our drone society can watch and tweet about at the click of a mouse or a phone. We need to have a massive cleansing of our country before it is truely hell on earth. Ignorance is contagious but unfortunately not very fatal.
Among this list are the actors and actresses whose presence in film has been a disgrace and has ultimately lowered the quality altogether of filmmaking. Careful consideration is used however in making the selections as not just anyone is chosen. One must look at not only a body of work but the actor/actress themselves to make such determinations.
List of actors and actresses whom I absolutely cannot bear to watch. Whether it be the fact that many of them are incredibly overexposed into film, some making half a dozen films a year. It's obvious they are quite shallow and just want our attention and money, as they could care less of credibility and substance. Exclusivity is the main factor that separates the dime a dozen actors from the pack, excluding talent of course. Of those actors and actresses in their 20s currently, many are on record paces to make 50-60 films by the time they hit their early 30s. Just imagine how many films these whores will make by the time they are 40-50. Some of them, however, will transition to the charater actor title in 5-10 years once their fad runs out its course. Some of the others will likely overdose and possibly even die, but by then their careers will probably be over.
List of directors who are the absolutely the best at filmmaking, without having to resort to excessive special effects and CGI in their films. These directors have not made only one successful film but have made multiple critically aclaimed films. There is no ranking of this and this list represents directors from 1970-current.
The films amongst this list represent not only exceptional filmmaking but are groundbreaking films from the last 40 years. What separates them from other films is that they transcend time. Their lasting affect is not only worth several viewings, but decades from now they will be seen again without losing entertainment value.
List of actors whom in my opinion, do not receive the credit that is due. Many of these actors are characterized as 'character actors', which for many is a suitable role. However, there are some on this list that deserve to have shared the critical success of their 'hollywood' peers. But for whatever reason, their careers have halted or failed to thrive and have been left with the cliche of being a character actor. Afterall, that is the risk in being an actor, in that your career often is hanging on by a thread. In other words, just when you think you've 'made it', you've been replaced and left behind in mediocrity. You are welcome to suggest names of actors whom you think deserve consideration for this list. There are a few actors on this list that are currently deceased so their mention is a post-humous consideration. There are also some among this list who have recently achieved critical and/or mainstream success, however, when I selected them they were underrated or at least lesser known. Some have mentioned the fact that several of these names have either won or been nominated for academy awards. In some cases, winning the award does not change their level of obscurity.
This list celebrates the absolute best television series from the last 15 years. What separates them from other series is that they seem to transcend time which allows them to be watched perhaps 10-20 years from now without losing any entertainment value. There is no specific order or ranking thus far. One major criteria in order to be added is that a series must have completed 3 seasons at least. However there will be a few exceptions of course. Also, there are several series that I've yet to watch so they will not be added just yet.
This list celebrates the greatest actors of the last 30 years in the purest form. However, each actor selected must remain true to their artistic integrity. Actors seen in films such as kiddie movies, romantic comedies, and overall terrible movies will not qualify. There is no specific order to this list thus far.
