Lastet film I saw in theaters: Children of Men, yeah!!! finally saw it and it was soooooooo worth it!!!! if there is just one movie to see in the theaters I would recommend that one. kinda a slow start but once it picks up it picks up! Have to mention Daddy's Little Girls, saw just before CoM and despite some of the reviews Tyler Perry did a great job again. sometimes the paradigm is ment to be broken, still a good movie. Music was perfect!!! Go support it.
Film I wanna see next in theaters also that new Judy Dench flim!
Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005)
Overall a good film
I really don't understand why this film is being bashed. Okay I understand a lot of ppl don't like when rappers do anything outside of rapping but take that out of the equation and you have a good film. It's basically in the same lane as a Goodfellas, Scarface, Shottas, Paid in Full type flick. The images are beautiful and I think the director & DP did a great job. I think what it boils down to is Mr. Curtis "50 cent" Jackson, in why ppl are turned off, which is sad. If you like those genres of movies then I think you will enjoy this one. 50's acting is decent, I mean there are times when it's horrible but for the most part he does a good job. I found some slight continuity issues but that's it. I know it gets compared to 8Mile a lot and after seeing both films I think GRODT is a much better film. To anyone who is thinking about seeing this film, I would say just go into it without any preconceived bias'.
