Trying to get as much money out of the final without enough in return
27 November 2011
I was surprised when I watched the first Twillight movie that I liked it. Vampire movies are not the kind of movies I normally like and all the hype around it wasn't attracting me either. But I surprisingly enjoyed the first movie. A day later I watched the second and third one. The second movie was a bit disappointing but the third one made up first it again and felt at the same level like the first.

Yesterday I went to watch the first part of the fourth movie to spend some times with friends. Already not being really a fan of the movies but having enjoyed the first ones, this kind of movies must be pretty good for me to like them. I was okay with the beginning because it had potential, it changed fast in a let's put as much as possible into the movie but all fast and short just so that you know it happened and you've seen it. The hardest job after a movie has sequels which score well with the public is managing to make a good last movie I think. Unfortunately hey didn't manage for the Twillight saga.

I am curious about how the second part will be but as the first part gave me a bit an uninterested feeling and the end kind of makes you already know how the second part might go, it won't be a movie I will be watching in the movie theatre.

Unexpected

The only reason why I watched this movie was the actor Jared Leto and at the beginning it kind of looked like a slow, boring movie. I was so wrong and am now so happy to have seen it. Jared Leto did such a great job and the movie was done very well too. The story, the movie is great! Often this kind of movies about someone real can be a bit dry. Like it is just the telling of facts about a great person. But not in this movie. Prefontaine was giving facts, but also a story and a very moving, filled story. I don't only want to find out more about Fontaine, but like someone else in a review said, after watching the movie you just want to go outside and start running! I loved the very end of the movie.

Top Gun (1986)

A great classic

25 years later and still this movie makes me feel good, make me have a good time and just every time again love it. Can't remember how many times I have seen this one in the last twenty years but enough to even know the dialogues. I am just never bored with it. It is still the best movie in his genre and doesn't even shows his 25 years. This is one of those movies that it is better not to tell too much about it because you will never tell it well enough to do credit to the movie. As I read in a review on IMDb, don't watch the rating. It is actually incredible low for a movie like this. Just give it a try, hopefully enjoy the movie and the great soundtrack! The movie is great, the images are beautiful, the story and the actors did a very good job all those years ago.

Great funny movie!
16 May 2006
This movie is so funny and great to see just because you can't stop laughing or just smiling because you are enjoying it so much.

The best part I thought was in the beginning when Rafi finds out about Dave's age and says: 'My god, I have t-shirts older than you!' But the whole movie through everything is really so funny because you know more than the characters do. They're doing things, saying things and at the same time you are thinking: no, don't do that or don't say that! Just because you know more about their relationships.

If you don't want to see a movie that is just funny to see, still go and watch because it is also a nice story to see. Behind the laughing there is something more.
