Not even Hulk Hogan and Loni Anderson could save this one., 17 September 2007
1/10

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Growing up till this day 3 Ninjas Kickback was the weak link in the series but that movie is a blessing compared to 3 Ninjas high noon at mega Mountain.

It does have some star power and familiar faces such as Jim Varney, Loni Anderson, Hulk Hogan, and Victor Wong but not even that could save this film.

The plot has the 3 ninjas saving a theme park from the bad guys. Not a bad plot because it introduces some fun scenarios. And some of the training and fight sequences were pretty creative, just hard to get into considering how flawed this movie was.

The previous kids who played the ninjas obviously had outgrown the roles by the time this was made but the casting was terrible. Nothing against the replacements, its just they didn't fit the role.

I'd suggest any of the 3 ninjas films except this one.

Good representation of the movie, but man is it hard!!!, 31 March 2007

This review is for the Sega Genesis version: The levels are just like the movies.

Training: 1st you train at Grandpas cabin. This board is too hard for a training level. Whats worse is you must win to move on newer levels. I never beat this w/out a game genie.

Cabin: Those 3 Heavy Metal thugs invade Grandpas cabin and you fight them off while collecting items. They're really easy however the other enemies in that board like ninjas and birds are rather irritating. Perhaps the easiest level in the game.

Cave: There are 2 cave missions. Both are fairly difficult. The last cave mission is when you fight Koga.

Japenese garden: It took me forever to finish this level. You have to do a lot of jumping to get around while all while enemies attack and throw things at you.

Hospital: Other than the cabin this board is pretty easy too. You'll encounter those Heavy metal thugs again and they're real easy. There will be other things at the Hospital like ninjas, things falling, exploding or small distractions but they arn't that bad. You fight that big Japenese Nurse at the end.

SO: This is the only 3 ninjas game to come out so I'd recommend it. Its pretty hard but it can still be fun, especially 2 player mode. There are passwords so you can go to which level you please. After every level Grandpa lets you collect items on a bonus stage. The bosses at the end of each level are much easier with 2 players.

Criminally underrated sports film, 3 December 2006
10/10

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

I don't know if a Above the rim is seen as a sports flick. Either way its a classic.

When I say classic I don't mean a boring movie that was good in its heyday. I mean a fun movie combining inspiration, comedy, drama, great acting and great cast.

There's 2 stories rolled into 1. Tommy Shepards problem pretty much brought him down. Kyle Watson on the other hand is a high school basket baller that if he plays his cards right will avoid the same fate as Tommy Shepard.

Recognizable cast as well. Definitely a must-see. Especially with Marlon Wayans and Tupac. This is perhaps Duane Martins and Leons best performance ever.

Turned out great, 26 July 2006

Back to the future part II had some setbacks but it still turned out be be awesome and my favorite of the series at that.

Those setbacks are Martys girlfriend Jennifer is replaced by a new actress.(the original actress left acting for awhile) Crispin Glover doesn't reprise his role as George Mcfly.Crispin Glover wouldn't reprise his role and filed a lawsuit for them trying to replace him so the movie was rewritten. George had to be murdered to write him off.

This movie rocked despite the setbacks. Part 2 picks up where part 1 left off.

They go to the future to prevent a chain reactions of bad events but Biff from the future creates a time paradox. You literally get to re-live part 1 because they go back to 1955 as well.

Some of the things in the future are cool like hover boards, flying cars but some things are really odd. This movie has a cliffhanger ending so I'd also recommend part 3 for a follow up.

Good representation of the movie at least., 16 June 2006

Unfortunently nearly every back to the future video game was so hard its frustrating. Using a game genie is one of the few ways to enjoy it.

This game has the following:

Buckboard chase = As Doc save Clara from falling into the ravine

Shooting gallery = The best and most fun part of the game. Just shoot enough targets to get a winning score.

Piethrow = Hit Bufords men with pies. This can be rather tough.

Train = Get through Bufords men and train conductors to get to the head of the train and back to the future. This board too is very hard and you're timed for it.

Its a good representation of the movie but rather difficult unless you use codes to make it easier.

Great action movie, great Eddie Murphy movie, but not a great Beverly Hills Cop movie., 21 December 2006
8/10

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

One thing that separates this from the 1st 2 is the action. The 1st 2 were comedy based with little action, part 3 is action based with little comedy. The comedy still here just not as consistent as the 1st 2.

Sadly neither Bogomil, Jenny Summers, Geoffrey or Taggert appear in this film. Tagert is briefly mentioned. Billy Rosewood, Inspector Todd and Serge from part 1 do reprise their roles.

The plot has Axel in Beverly Hills tracking Inspector Todds killer around a theme park.

This is my favorite of the trilogy but for the majority its a good action and Eddie Murphy movie but not a good Beverly hills Cop movie.

Greatest comic movie EVER!!!!, 22 December 2006

In Blade II Whistler returns, that was a BIG plus. It also has good continuation from part 1. 1 gripe some fans have is the CGI fights. I didn't like them but they weren't so bad that they ruined the entire movie.

Guellermo del Toro's directing in this was like Tim Burtons directing in the Batman movies: He's so good at making a villain so ruthless yet you can feel sorry for the villain too.

Unlike Blade Trinity, Blade II has so many characters yet still manages to focus on Blade. Ron Perlman did a great job also.(real treat for Hellboy fans) This sequel has Blade teaming with the Bloodpack that trained 2 years to hunt him, so they can get rid of new vampires called Reapers. Scary thing is Reapers are far superior to regular Vampires.

The final fight between Blade & Nomak was surprising and was pulled off really well. Whats really interesting is that throughout the movie its hard to tell whos on whos side.

In conclusion: twist, lots of action/little drama, great acting, superb cast, awesome director makes for one of best action movies ever. Its a shame Del Toro couldn't direct Blade trinity,(he was making Hellboy at the time)

This owns the PS1 game!, 15 June 2006

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

In Blade II for PS2 the plot doesn't follow the movies too well but its still enjoyable.

The Good:The fight system is very easy, all you do is use the analog stick. Pretty much every weapon from the movie is one here, although some are more useful than others. Whistler appears throughout the game but only accompanies you on 2 levels. Sadly he doesn't help kill anything, he pretty much just sets some bombs.

The Bad:At times a large number of enemies. However thats where the UV grenade comes in handy.

The Weapons include a pistol, shotgun, UV grenade, brass knuckles and a glaive. Blades sword is effective but can only be used in rage mode. However there is a code where you can use it anytime, so thats up to you.

If you're a Blade fan I highly suggest this game because Blade didn't have out too many games and the one for PS1 lacks so much compared to this one.

Best of the series, Not the scariest, 16 December 2006
10/10

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Candyman 2 isn't bad at all. It may lack when compared to part 1 because it isn't as scary as part 1. That might be because Clive Barker was more involved with the 1st. I'll even admit the 1st had a better plot compared to many horror movies.

This movie does reflect on Helen Lyle from part 1. Purcell who appeared in part 1 even appears in this one.

The acting and plot are all really underrated. This movie shows how good an actress Kelly Rowan really is. The ending is something to watch out for as well(pretty cool). The flashbacks are perhaps the best EVER. Its also refreshing to see Tony Todd reprise his role as Candyman. This movie may not be as scary as part 1 but is a God among movies especially compared to candyman 3.

Picture "Set it off" and "Shawshank redemption", 16 June 2007
8/10

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Ever seen "Set it off" and "Shawshank redemption"? Civil brand is like both those movies combined. The ending is a lot like "set it off". Da Brat (yes the rapper) is the narrator of this movie.

You got 4 main women: Wet, Nikki, Francis and Little mama. All are in prison for some jacked up reasons. Mainly Francis since her actions are the only ones that can be justified.

The women in prison are used to make items for the Warden so he could sell those items for a lot more. Pretty much scamming $$$. The main point is the prison is corrupt and the inmates are abused. There's a new guard (played by Mos Def) who's most likely their only ally.

BTW, after watching Clifton Powell in this movie I wonder could Hollywood politics get any biased. He deserved major props for his role. Who didn't do a fantastic job in this movie?!
