Absolutely senseless movie that is so irritating its a pain to watch. The moment a drugged women got out of a car drowning in the lake I realized that the whole plot is plain simple stupid.

An underwhelming follow up to season 1

I rated this a 5 because this was around half as good as Haunting of the Hill house. The story lacked depth and the acting also seemed sub par. The dialogues were well written and the director has attempted to inject excitement into an old and known plot used by many movies before, that were based on "Turning of the screw" such as a movie titled "The Turning" released towards the start of 2020. Season 1 had a very fresh and unique touch which is missing here. This season towards the end i.e. the last 2 episodes feel like a drag and an excessively intentional rather forced effort to appease the LGBTQ community has beeb made, which most of the reviewers are regarding as a so called love story. Unlike season 1 where the same sex relationship was presented with its own set of challenges here it is poorly executed which also presents itself as an overkill. Bear in your mind that this isn't a love story either because that portion of the rushed relationship only lasts one episode so calling this a love story is just a pathetic overstatement. This was a disappointment overall.

Reckless distortion of history. This is so excessively fabricated its less believable than fiction. The victors are portrayed as losers and some low life Italian mercenary is shown as a god send. Goodness gracious. Seriously these vested agendas do no service to history... STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOW IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR HISTORY TO BE SKEWED...

Historically Inaccurate and Exaggerated

Quite evidently this documentary is purely based on Roman historical accounts. You would consistently observe the Ottaman's to be losing at multiple fronts like blowing up of their cannon, failures of jenassaries and miners etc. While the Italian mercenaries and Scottish miners are winning on all fronts. Yet the fact is that the Constantinople fell to Ottaman's. If the Romans were really this cunning and their mercenaries, not soldiers mind you, war savvy as shown in the documentary why would such a strong hold city fall. Mehmet is shown to be a stubborn arrogant commander yet his invasion was successful. Typical effort by western film makers to distort history and sell their own self vested agenda. Funny thing it is to ridicule history like this and create nuances of fiction to twist facts regarding the Ottaman's private affairs that the Roman historians wouldn't know of. Also a quote from the documentary "if you are to beleive the Roman history in the first attack of Jannaiseries the Roman's didn't even lose a signal man!!!" Yet the city was lost. This is how flawed this documentary is. Waste of time if you really are watching it for history. I rest my case.

The Biggest Movie Pakistan Has Ever Produced !

Waar comes to us after much anticipation that spreads over the course of almost 1.5 years and it certainly lived up to the anticipation...The movie's execution is immaculate and needless to say it is very well linked with the current situation of Pakistan. Also that it brings forth the contributions of armed forces of Pakistan, what most of common Pakistanis and foreign media is unaware of. The closing message which is remarkable as it says "As long as the history is being written by hunters...lions would never be known as heroes" speaks for the overall concept of the movie which certainly is a major leap in attempting to build the history right...Kudos
