Siraa Fil-Mina (1956)
A real Change in course for Faten Hamama
I like this movie not only because of the fine directing, acting, screenplay and dialogue but mainly because of Faten Hamama's choice of role. in that era , she was the angel face of the high and middle-class society. a symbol for real fineness. But in a very clever and different choice the showed us what she can do , turning simply into that WILD Cat on the screen . a girl from the lower classes living beside the dock of Alexandria port , working there and her life before and after her long gone cousin , working on a ship , returns from a trip . she was wonderful. I love to see her in this movie skirmishing her cousin - played by Omar Sheriff - though they're in love .i might add that this is perhaps one of the few movies in Egyptian cinema that i can really feel what is described as sexual tension between the two main characters . flowing off the screen . wonderful movie
A Walk to Remember (2002)
there is a meaning for your life, find it
I could not express it better , the 17 years old male "Author from San Francisco, CA" said it "Cry Inside " that's right , i was happy for them both yet i cried inside to , for them , and for me too . what will i ever do if i was in Landon's shoe , to lose the person i really love , and if i was Jamie , to know that I WILL lose the person i love .I too identified with them , lived with them , they were perfect , Mandy was a real angel and Shane played a perfect role , i too saw a real future stars . by the way , i'm not a teen at all , i'm a female , 30 years old , and way far from California . Still a very good movie touches heart & soul where ever and when ever it's shown. anyone looking for a meaning in his life should see it.
