Trust me, this movie doesn't deserve all the hate
I am not going to show any spoilers or anything like that, but what I will say is that this movie doesn't deserve all the hate it's getting. 7.5 is the perfect rating for this good movie. The film is a brilliant sequel to the Man of Steel, first and foremost, that's for sure. Even though half the movie can be slow and maybe even a little confusing, there are scenes that keep you going and gives you the excitement you are looking for in a superhero movie. For the acting performance, I want to first mention Eisenberg. He surprised me entirely. To be frank, Jesse Eisenberg gives one of the greatest performances of his career as the Psycho genius, Lex Luthor. Gal Gadot gave an incredible performance as well, shocking me and my friends in the theater. Let me just say that her sexiness and her ass-kicking was evident. It actually truly excites me for the Wonder Woman movie coming soon. I also loved watching the experienced acting of Jeremy Irons. Even though he didn't have as much of a story as Michael Cain's Alfred, he went all out with every scene he was in. As for Ben Affleck, his performance was kind of disappointing. He usually IS a good actor. But I don't think he was the right choice for Batman, yet I think I am just used to the Christian Bales Batman. Hopefully Affleck will come back with a more fulfilling performance. All in all, I would say this was much better than Man of Steel (I gave Man of Steel 4/10), therefore I think we should be patient with Zack Snyder for the future to continue making these DC movies in his own way. I think there will be progress.
