Kyaputen Hârokku (2013)
boring and generic
This has none of the gorgeous ethereal technologies that Matsumoto is known for.
The characters are bland and boring and it is in my opinion not a space opera but a simple action movie. The CG is boring, the ship design is awful, looks like a a failed attempt to create a great , big pirate ship .The characters look as if they're imported from a generic ps3 title, especially the female characters, who have ridiculous formfitting armour, because we need to show boobs at all times. This is a mess of a movie. The plot makes no sense. The protagonist is blander than a bowl of leafs.
Muppets Most Wanted (2014)
Well, i thought this was fun. Ignore the irony of Americans making fun of prison systems, when they have such a horrible prison system. Also ignore the jabs at the holidays that Europeans get as opposed to the 18th century-seeming labor laws and gross exploitation of the US system. This is a funny movie. It is better than the saccharine mess that Jason Segel singlehandedly destroyed. Just laugh and have fun. The jokes are funny the songs are amazing, and the cameos are occasionally funny. Stanley Tucci, Jemaine Clement and Usher do a good job. Tina Fey is kind of funny, and Gervais is not the creepy dude that he seems like on twitter, he does an okay job here, actually.
i must have bad taste...
Because i didn't like this movie. The protagonist was an annoying smug ... well rat, and linguini was boring, and didn't fit in with his country boy twang. Colette was horrid. And the rats cooking in the end is supposed to be a good thing. Rats should not be in a kitchen, no matter how cute they are. It was just horrid. Patton oswald is a smug self important comic, so i guess i see the resemblance, but this movie was not a pixar movie. It was just not that good. Remy was bland, linguini was blah, colette was euchh! And the rest of the cast were forgettable. Ego had a wonderful voice, but he shouldn't have accepted rats in the kitchen. I did not like it.
