Something not so different, done completely different
I come across indie movies all the time, so many are flat with no enthusiasm, very rarely is there a diamond in the rough, Enter PIG. With a nice experimental feel, PIG plays out interestingly enough. Never knowing what is going to happen next, PIG delivers with surprise, and sometimes, down right shock. Regardless of how unoriginal the story may be at times, it's the ending that got me. Nothing better than a message hidden within the madness. Such a message on society did nothing less than sucker punch me.
If you have a chance to see PIG (along with the stomach, and patience) do so!
Creepshow 3 (2006)
A case of a HORRIBLE movie, not a HORROR movie!
So help me god if I were to see another attempt of a tie in with one of these segments I'd end up like the vendor at the end, with blood spewing out my head. This movie made more attempts at laughs than horror...Isn't this a CREEPSHOW sequel? They were HORROR movies right? Badly written scenes along with terrible direction and even worse editing and scoring. It looks like these filmmakers thought "hey we make ANOTHER George Romero sequel (look for the Day of Dead 2) we can make some more money" So its obvious what happened.
1. Used the name of Creepshow to secure finances. 2. Paid for location/sets 3. Paid a decent SFX guy 4. Shot in film for good quality (which still looked digital) 5. Pocketed the rest.
It's clear NO money was used for SKILLED actors, or GOOD writers. Instead they went happy with Adobe After Effects, some bland 4+ theme songs on loop, stock sound effects, and one decent photo which they used for EVERYTHING!!!
I've seen better things in a toilet!
