Don't believe the trailer - You should watch the series first
The series was great. I didn't start watching it until it was over. I'm an Amazon Prime member, and the series was recommended. Good call Amazon! The series is awesome. I really dislike that the trailer for this movie says that you don't have to be a follower of the series to enjoy it. Dead wrong.
There are far too many inside jokes and character references, in the movie, to be able to enjoy and REALLY understand the movie, on it's own.
I binge watched the series, and it was worth it. Watch the series first. Trust me.
Wolf Lake (2001)
Why oh Why!?
This show was excellent. And, right when it really started to pick up, it was canceled. I just bought the 2 DVD set. I only caught the CBS episodes and wanted to catch the last 4 UPN episodes. I was hoping they would tie things up, but no! They leave you in suspense, dying for more. The last three episodes were freakin' incredible! But, again.. I am so disappointed that they just left everything up in the air. John is so close to finding out what Wolf Lake is all about. Van Halen is introduced as a new character, well known on television, in the very last episode. Here is a man that found out exactly what was going on at Wolf Lake but the show ends with him being tossed into a padded room...and the sheriff's daughter nearly flipping (becoming a wolf). Luby is set free and it was just a matter of time before she went ahead and told John about the place. Damn! Ended WAY too early.
The Shining (1997)
Why would anyone want to remake this classic? Don't even bother watching it. Do yourself a favor, and change the channel if it were to ever come on. Sci-Fi seems to enjoy re-running it. The actors are sub-par. Jack? Give me a break. If this movie HAD to be remade, find an actor that can actually play the "Jack" Character. Not only was this guy an OVER actor, he was just plain not believable. After watching this, I really think it was made for TV... I really don't have much else to say about this horrible remake. However, in order to get this comment posted, I need to write 10 lines. Soooo, how's it going? Doing well I hope. Have a great day! :)
