What were they thinking in messing up a classic cartoon like this? It doesn't even have the feel of the old and classic ones back then, this is completely garbage, worse than that lame Tom and Jerry kids show, ugh, what is with that one. Tom and Jerry don't do those things, well in the old ones, they did say some words, but had better voices, and the chase sequences of the game of cat and mouse were very much missing, there were only a few, but weren't all that brilliant. They didn't even have their hilarious screams neither, or other funny antics with hammers, rockets, anvils, bowling bowls or any other cartoon classic weapon next to the pie. They had some songs that aren't all that worthy, especially the one by Rip Taylor's character. But he's so brilliant. And none of the other supporting characters of the original make an appearance here! That Droopy one is just not satisfactory at all, it's like a blatant Roger Rabbit rip! Where's the maid, or spike, or Nibbles or whatever his name is, the gray mouse, and where's the trio of cats, the black one, the fat short one, the stupid looking one, and where's the canary, or the duckling? Nowhere! They made them talk, and sing, and dance, and put some useless characters, without paying much homage to the original ones. This is nonsense, just watch the old cartoons on Carton Network or any other channel that broadcasts it. Avoid this and the Tom and Jerry Kids Show.

And yes, we have another brilliant work of Mel Brooks, the master of zany parody, this time he spoofs the prince of darkness himself, Count Dracula, played by the funny and hilarious Leslie Nielson, of Naked Gun, Wrongfully Accused, Scary Movie 3, and may others, makes a funny Bela Lugosi impersonation, and a very funny Dracula. It's filed with funny moments and lines, my favorite is the one with the theater and the meeting with Renfield and Dr. Seward, I like the way he eats the bugs, and the one when he is given another enema. "Give him a you know what."-Doc. "No not another enema!"-Renfield. "Yes and another and another until you come to your senses." And not to mention the one with Van Helsing, and his students, the way he disgusts them is unforgettable, and I love the one when Harker says "she's dead?" and then Van Helsing says "she's Nosferatu." "She's Italian?" asks Harker. And the way the blood came out was cool, and not very disgusting, and the part when Dracula commands Mina and the maid was very unforgettable. And the running gag when Van Helsing and Dracula keep exchanging the last word. And in the end, he gets killed by Renfield accidentally, and Van Helsing does get the last word. But Renfield is now under Dr. Seward's control now, hehehe. Recommended for fans of Mel Brooks and to Dracula fans.
Ya gotta love that Mel Brooks. The man behind Nude Bomb, Dracula Dead And Loving It, Space Balls, Robin Hood Men in Tights, and many others. The master of parody is funny in this one, as he stars as a WWII veteran now a complete nut in the funny farm. And now the son of his friend takes him all the way back to Italy, only to have him cause a lot of mayhem, and the results are complete chaos! At the same time, a doctor is trying to bring him back to the nut house for he is dangerous. And by golly she is right! There are many funny scenes, and lines that left me laughing for hours, I like the part where the guy gets arrested and shares a cell with a man who likes to strip himself naked. Or the part with the cathedral, and another one I find funny is when they visit his friend finally, check it out yourself. Anyways, this is recommended to all fans of Mel Brooks and his works. Watch it. You'll love it.

Well what more can I say? This is perhaps the best Castlvania game in
the series. It had the feel and the action of all the classic NES and
SNES games. And once again, you play as Alucard from the 3rd NES
Castlevania, this time, he is stronger, and cooler, and better compared
to the NES game. And next to that, this is a follow-up to the SNES game
Dracula X and the PC game that never came to the States. In this one,
you first play the last stage and fight Dracula, and after that, you
learn that Richter went missing, and the castle has risen again, and
Alucard awakens from his eternal slumber to find out what evil awaits
in the old castle. In this one you can collect items like the 2nd NES
game, and you can use among different weapons, as swords, maces,
staves, and you can also use magic at the same time, but you have to
master them, and know the combination on the controls. And not to
mention, you can still use secondary weapons, as axes, daggers, holy
water, cross boomerangs, stopwatches and others. But compared to
Richter, Alucard uses the cross and Holy water differently. The game
play is a lot like Super Metroid, because instead of passwords, you can
save, and perhaps this is the first game of the series to have one,
because gone are the days where you can advance to a level through
passwords. And personally, I believe this surpasses the 3D ones, I just
didn't get people why they demanded 3D ones, I found the 3D one on the
PS2 different, and tedious, but I do love the N64 version, because it
had the feel, but, others complained. Well, be careful what you wish
for. Anywho, this is a must own for fans of the series.
SPOILER: There is a secret in this game, where you can begin with a suit of armor and battle ax in your inventory. I think it is AX ARMOR you have to type as your name. I'm not so sure, it's been awhile, see for your self. >>>>10/10---EXCELLENT! And the ending theme is beautiful! I am the wind, I am the sun, and one day we'll all be one...
Another cool and successful title of the series on the GBA. This time it is set in the 2035, you play as a foreign student, Soma Cruz, studying in Japan, and all of a sudden during the first eclipse of the year, Dracula's castle arises, in Japan? How, isn't it supposed to be in East Europe? And all of a sudden, monsters appear and attack you. And a strange person who looks familiar, helps you out. And Soma starts to think there is a connection between him and the castle, and what will he find there? Overall, a very great game, and it has all the cool stuff and action from all the other games in the tradition of Symphony of the Night, and you also play as another character who is a Belmon, but has very cool moves and weapons, and power but at the same time, he looks like a woman. Not again. And you can level him up, and this time, you get weapons from other enemies. And the swords and magic are awesome. Recommended for fans of the series, those who have GBA, of course, and for those who find the 3D ones lousy.
Oh, Robert Downey Jr. is funny again in this one, and he plays a man who can see the ghosts, who have not yet fulfilled things they wanted to do in their lives, thanks to that sleazy bus driver. It begins as young Thomas Reily, he can see and talk to these beings, and he seems to learn a lot from them until a psychologist and others including his parents have become concerned, that he something is wrong, the ghosts have to leave now, leaving poor little Tom sad. Now he is an adult, and has forgotten about them, but wait, they appear again, and Tom somehow manages to see them again, and that's not it, the bus driver has returned saying, he's come to take them to Heaven, after all those years, idiot, says he was supposed to get them, but went seeing some relatives, and the ghosts are sore at him, so they made a deal, he'll get them once they complete what they've wanted do. And Tom should help them since he can only see them, at the same time trying get things right with his girlfriend. Overall this is a very touching and heart warming movie, and a very good comedy everyone can enjoy, not a lot of violence or swearing, so anyone can enjoy it. And the ending theme is also great and touching.
Nah, it just isn't worth watching, or renting, why? Well let's just say it didn't live up to the first one. It wasn't very fast paced, or exciting, it was very predictable. And it's mostly them on the boat, trying to get everyone out, because it is out of control. It lost most of the elements the first one had. It didn't have the 'speed' theme, it was mostly a boat out of control, how? Someone just hacked it, and there it went, it wasn't on the threat of terrorists, there wasn't the threat of a bomb explosion, and it wasn't even sinking. Where's the excitement? The movie doesn't even deserve to be called 'Speed' because there was nothing about 'speed' in it, sure it had Sandra Bullock in it, but Keanu Reeves was missing in it. If you want to see a film about a boat out of control, just watch Titanic.
This movie based on the book with the same title, is about a trial about a man who shot some people because his daughter was raped, and the KKK is coming in, as the trial goes on. This is a very powerful drama, and a decent cast as well, Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock, Donald Sutherland, Kevin Spacey, Kiefer Sutherland, Matthew McConaughey, and Ashley Judd. Very great and dramatic acting, directed by Joel Schumacher, the man who brought Falling Down,Batman & Robin,Batman Forever,Phone Booth,The Lost Boys St. Elmo's Fire and many others. The scenes at trial were very realistic and convincing and the beginning of the film was perhaps the most disturbing in this movie, and the scene with the KKK coming in was also disturbing. A must see for those who have read the book, I believe they have captured the feel of it very accurately. Watch it.
This is the second movie of the CCS series and possibly the last, but hey, it ended beautifully. I never saw the first one, but this one, whoa, is great, and touching. Sure it is from CLAMP, and it seems too cute and disturbing, but still, you gotta love this. After the last episode Li goes back to Hong Kong, but comes back for a vacation, and in time for the Nadesico Festival. And it seems to be a happy reunion, and all looks well, as Sakura may be able to answer back to Li, but there always seem to be something in the way, is it another card? It looks like it is, and what's a girl to do? Capture it. But this seems to be a very tricky card unlike the rest. Overall great animation compared to the series, great songs, especially the one in the middle when everyone is getting ready for the festival. And really love the ending song by Chaka, Tomorrow's Melody, I think that's what it's called, forgive me if it's the wrong title. But overall very good, good enough that even the kids could watch, not much of that supposed "gay" or "lesbian" stuff that most guys in the US say there is, and not very much violence at all, and not very disturbing as an anime fan might think there is, since this is a CLAMP title. And you'll find the ending very touching and nice. Really cute, not the sickening cute. Recommended to fans of the series, and to kids and adults alike, and to non-anime fans who don't know anime yet, forget Naruto or Ragnarok.
This "Speed" movie about a "Speed" bus that should have a lot of "Speed" so they don't get blown up. Okay enough of that. This is a very excellent and exciting thriller, and great acting alive with emotion. And may I say a decent cast, wow. A lot of hot stars in this one. An unforgettable role of Keanu Reeves way back before he starred in The Matrix, and great acting too. And not to mention Sandra Bullock of While You Were Sleeping, Ms. Congeniality, A Time To Kill and many others. And not to say the least, the villain Dennis Hopper. His acting is very solid and captivating, and he is very convincing as the bad guy. I especially like the part when he tell them about bombs. "Bombs must blow, if they don't they're not bombs, they're gold watches." That was cool. And the way they get the hostages out is amazing and cliffhanging, and full of suspense, find out yourself, you'll find it cool. Recommended to all fans of action, adventure thrillers and to those who love Dennis Hopper.
