The best movies of 2016 according to me, making it objective fact. Enjoy!

a list of 16 titles
This is my opinion on the Marvel Universe and in which order I think their films should be listed. I expect a certain degree of criticism with my ranking so feel free to leave your own list in the comments.

a list of 74 titles
These are only live action movies as including all the animated movies would have made this list unnecessarily long. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
Now this list was a lot of fun to put together because, really, there are no good movies based on video games. There are tolerable movies and movies that have elements that work well but overall, as a sub-genre, video game based movies a-suck. So compiling a list of best video game movies is like deciding which kind of venereal desease you prefer. As with all my other lists, start at the bottom and work your way up and enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
This list is very late but better late than never I always say. So here are my picks for the top 10 best movies of 2015.

a list of 16 titles
Ranking Pixar's movies is a lot like ranking Hayao Miyazaki's movies because most of what they do is simply put better than everything else available in the animated movie marked. Their last two movies haven't been very good but having said that they are still enjoyable children's movies. Enjoy the list!

a list of 32 titles
My opinion on the animated movies done with basis in the DC characters and storylines that I have seen. Enjoy the list!

a list of 24 titles
James Bond is an institution in the world of film. Ever since the early 60's this secret agent has entertained the masses and some of his best movies stand as some of the best action movies of all time. There is no doubt that he is an influential figure and with the recent release of Skyfall I thought it was appropriate to look at (and rank) all of his movies. Enjoy the list!

a list of 100 titles
This was originally a list of my top 10 favorite movies but eventually I realised that such a list would be subject to life long change and revision and even then it would never be completely satisfactory. Instead I have redubbed the list to give a more expansive view of why I love movies as a genre. The list is not in ordered by how much I like them so the number 1 is not necessarily my favorite movie.

a list of 20 titles
As with any of my lists, you should start at the bottom and work your way up and whether or not you agree with the list I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts. So with that said I hope you enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
It is still very early and there are still a lot of films from 2014 I haven't seen yet so this list will probably change over the next few months.

a list of 10 titles
So far these are my picks for the best movies of the year. While 2013 might have been a little slow with its mainstream entertainment movies, it makes up for it with some superb artistic movies. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
I have put an almost indecent amount of thought into this list so I hope you enjoy it and if you don't agree, well, make your own list and stop bitching about mine.

a list of 10 titles
As always, start at the bottom, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of the Top 10.

a list of 10 titles
A little warning before you read this list. I am a fanboy so don't be too surprised by the movies on the list. Anyway, enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
As a film fanatic and a top 10 list fanatic i strongly suggest you start at the bottom and build up to the top. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
Once again I hope you start at the bottom and work your way up and I hope you enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
Just to clarify, there will only be direct sequels on this list, I will be making a threequels list shortly but these movies are my pick for the best sequels of all time. Let me know if you think I have missed any and I will be glad to reshape the list. As with all my lists, I think you should start at the bottom and work your way up to maintain suspense. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
One of my favorite all time directors and while he hasn't made all too many movies his movies are always interesting, even the ones that aren't of the highest quality. Cronenberg has a very distinct style with strong characters and psycho sexual elements visualised through some extreme, often venereally themed, effects. Definitely acquired taste but once you start to like him he is a director that keeps on giving. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
This list might still change around and it probably will but so far 2012 has been a fantastic movie year. It is probably the biggest year of blockbusters to date with whoppers like The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall and The Hobbit but unlike many other years these movies are actually of really high quality. That having been said there is also a lot of artistry in movies this year with movies like Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Master or Moonrise Kingdom. Overall 2012 has been a great year to be a fan of movies.

a list of 10 titles
I have only recently started watching a lot of series but now, it seems, I can't get enough. With quality shows like Breaking Bad, probably the best in mainstream entertainment I have ever watched, Dexter and Sons of Anarchy I find myself looking forward to the next episode more than even the biggest Hollywood blockbuster. There are notable series missing from this list, like The Wire, Louie or The Sopranos, but that may simply be because I have not yet seen them. Anywho, please feel free to leave your tip as to which series you think are missing or that you think I would like, enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
Miyazaki is hands down the best director of animated movies of all time. There is so much vibrance and sense of history to his movies that are sometimes so amazingly endearing that you feel like you can't stand it. Luckily for us in the west we have experienced a renaissance of Miyazaki movies in recent years and have been so fortunate to get to watch all of the master director's feature length movies. All of his films are good so I cannot in good conscience call the list 'Best to worst' because that is simply not a lable that belongs on a Miyazaki film. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
Finding a sequel that is as good as its predecessor can be hard enough but finding a third movie in a series that is any good can be downright laberous. Yet somehow there are a some exceptions to this rule and there are actually a few threequels that manage to be the best of their respective series. Anyways, you should start from the bottom and work your way up when reading this list to maintain suspense. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 titles
This list is still subject to changes as there are still quite a few films I haven't seen yet. Overall, however, I will have to say that 2011 was the worst year in films I have experienced so far. Obviously there were a few gems but overall the year seemed incredibly light on the really good. And when that is said please don't stop reading the list. Enjoy :-)

One of my favorite directors. Although it is safe to say that he has peaked (that happened a few decades ago) Ridley Scott still churns out quality films. Scott is known for his amazing sense of visuals and a solid grip on his stories. He has left an enduring mark on the sci-fi genre and singlehandedly returned the sword and sandal genre to the mainstream audience. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 people
When I made my first top 10 of directors I had intended for that to be it, but there are just too many talented directors out there and I want to recognize all of them and for that reason I felt I had to make this follow-up. Enjoy the list!

a list of 10 people
This is a list that will probably change a lot over the years considering that my taste is forever in flux and therefore different directors with their individual styles will have more sway with me depending on where my preference lies at the time. Well as with all my other lists you should start at the bottom and work your way up. Enjoy the list!

I have always been a science fiction afficionado and therefore this list is extremely close to my heart and I love all of these movies and putting them into order is a difficult thing for me to do. But here goes. Enjoy the list!

So, this is my list of Spielberg's best films in my opinion. The man has made so many brilliant films but a few overrated ones too appear on the man's resumé. E.T. for instance appears at the top of pretty much all lists devoted to Spielberg, which has always surprised me. Sure, its an emotional ride but it is also quite poorly paced and dated. Well anyways, start at the bottom and work your way up and enjoy the list!

This year had the distinction of having the decade's best film and indeed a great collection of runner-ups. Start at the bottom, please and enjoy the list!

While other years have boasted better individual movies, 2007 is without a doubt the alround best movie year of the decade. As always start at the bottom and work your way up. Enjoy the list!

Please start at the bottom and work your way up. It is the only way to read a top 10. Enjoy the list!
